• Hi, I'm Lisa-mommy to my boys, David, 7 and Matty, 6 and wife to Steve. In between school and work we spend our time playing outdoors on the central coast of CA, eating chocolate chip pancakes, tapping tunes on the piano (David) and choreographing elaborate lightsaber duels (Matty). I create handmade jewelry and love taking pictures. Stick around and get to know us!

little extras

I’ve had quite few people asking me about these two items…
These sweet freshwater pearl earrings are a perfect match for the sterling stamped jewelry. Just your basic, classic pearls, that go with everything! Strung on sterling fishhook earwires $16
A nifty silver polish cloth to keep your necklace shiny. They last a long time, even when the cloth gets dingy! $5

We are doing a lot of potty talk and potty sitting around here…but not much potty action! I’ll keep you updated.

Lisa I love your new cards. They are beautiful! And good luck with the potty. Once it’s done, it will be worth every minute of work!

I was thinking the same thing as Tracy. It sounds like potty training is a hassle, but Matthias will benefit from it the rest of his life. Just think of the cute undies he can wear…

The earrings are very pretty. I will have to order some for myself I think.
I forgot to mention on the other post that Jonny was over 3 when he finally decided to become potty trained. We tried when he was two and a half, but he just refused and became horribly constipated. We just let the issue drop for several months, and tried again, just like you did with Matty.
    Good luck!

I have enough potty talk going on in my own house these days, so I have nothing to contribute on that end (sorry- bad pun), BUT I do want a polishing cloth! I was just thinking I needed to shine the necklace- can’t have Abby chewing on a dingy necklace!

I LOVE your jewelry! I told my husband that I want them and showed him how to get to your blog. My birthday and graduation are coming up so we’ll see. Right now I’m still anxiously awaiting the mail for my other jewelry!! I can’t wait!

Oh Lisa, Im going to have to stop looking on your blog! I really love those earrings. It’s so rare for me to find jewellery that I really love so when I do I simply have to buy it. Those earrings are so simple but so pretty. Gggrrrrr.
Will no doubt be placing an order very soon!

The best advice I can give about potty training is to relax. I tried my first child before he was ready and it ended up taking over a year!! Both my girls were show offs and did it in 3/4 days although Sylvie refuses to poo on the potty. She insists on putting a pull-up on and hiding behind a chair. Very amusing.

Hi Lisa — on potty training — the one thing that really helped my daughter was for me to tell her that one of her stuffed animals or Barney really needed to go potty –so Barney or the other animal would go first and then she’d go. Had tried all kinds of other things, but this is what really seemed to work. Love the earrings, will be sending you an email soon. Janet
