to hold hands and walk slowly and get to know the girls better

to feed the giraffes and get a little wet (look at those lips!)

to explore and eat ice cream and ride the train (twice!)

to talk and hug and be together

It’s so fun to alternate between the stamped sterling silver and the handmade brass. It keeps my creativity flowing. Here’s what I was busy making last night…

I am in love with this chain! Big circular links with a Botswana Agate teardrop pendant. Gorgeous! Long–hits right above the waist. $58

Olive quartz teardrops hung from hammered brass rings. Simple and beautiful About 1 1/2″ long. SOLD

18″ gold-filled chain is strung with a hammered brass ring, smokey quartz, a tiny vintage brass locket and a sweet key. SOLD

This is a vintage brass pendant in french that reads, ‘I love you more than yesterday, less than tomorrow’. SO, so cute!! Also has a vintage heart locket and a sweet glass bead. J-clasp in the front, hits right above the bust. SOLD

after errands this morning, we stopped by la familia pumpkin patch off los osos valley road. it’s really cute, with a few animals, a corn maze, a tiny haunted house and of course a lot of pumpkins!

david and daddy in the corn maze.

matty pushes the wheelbarrow.

don’t be spooked, it’s just david!

matty makes his way through the maze.

silly strollers and lucky winners

we got a ‘sit and stand’ stroller for the boys. the front has a tray and seatbelt for the smaller (but in our case older) child and the back has a bench and a platform to stand on for the larger (but in our case younger) child. well the other day, matty HAD to sit in the front. so i buckled him in and and sat david on the bench. they both thought it was pretty funny. it was a fun experiment, but long-term we’ll have david in the front and matty on the bench!

on to the winners! thank you so much everyone for your encouragement and for the fun comments. i loved reading each one. the winners are the isaacs and baby james. email me and tell me which one you’d like!

we had lunch with nana in cayucos before she left town. i loved this pic of them walking down to the shore. david is marching. matty is trying to run ahead. it was such a beautiful clear day. i never tire of the ocean. the sand, yes, but the ocean, no. i’ll choose two winners for the simply.charming. necklaces tomorrow so feel free to cast your vote.

i am having so much fun hammering and adding charms to these new necklaces. I also got new teeny tiny stamps that have such a sweet feel.

fly. a hammered oval with inspiring words and a handmade sterling bird charm. $54

i hold your heart. this is my favorite. the larger heart is just over an inch and the edges are hammered. a smaller sterling heart dangles inside. Featured design for Oct. $48
