Hi, I'm Lisa-mommy to my boys, David, 7 and Matty, 6 and wife to Steve. In between school and work we spend our time playing outdoors on the central coast of CA, eating chocolate chip pancakes, tapping tunes on the piano (David) and choreographing elaborate lightsaber duels (Matty). I create handmade jewelry and love taking pictures. Stick around and get to know us!

it’s a zoo around here.

I can’t believe it’s Easter on Sunday and then Spring Break next week! We are planning to meet the girls at the zoo-yay!! I haven’t told Matty about it yet because he’ll ask every five minutes when we can go. I told David, though, because he can keep a secret!

Steve and our good friend Ryan are busy building a website for the jewelry. If Ryan wasn’t a good friend before, he is now because–1. He’s helping us build an awesome website out of the kindness of his heart 2. He is over often and into the wee hours of the morning. 3. He loves to rough and tumble with Matty.

I’ll keep you updated on the site progress! Any big plans for Spring Break?

Today marks our first day of sleeping in! Yea for Easter break! We plan on seeing the “Horton” movie and diving into large amounts of buttered popcorn.

Our Spring Break was last week…and we had a blast…swimming, seeing “Horton”, and going to a local museum to see a “Bug/Snake” exhibit…the kids loved it…even tho’ I couldn’t stand the snakes!! They touched them and even allowed the handler to put it around their necks…ewwww! Have an awesome day at the zoo!

Glad you are having a Spring Break. I’m glad you are wise for keeping your secret from Matt. I did make a BIG mistake by telling my older son, Dylan that he would be able to open ONLY ONE with my choice on Christmas Eve.. then he asked every 5 minutes.

can’t wait till the website opens Spring break has just started and the weather is going to be afwul here in NL, but if it snows the boys at least will be happy …. Great pic !

i’m not really aware of spring break yet. i’m in the in between stages… long time since college days and the kids aren’t old enough to have a spring break yet!

I just got the family tree necklace in the mail today. A gift from my mother in law. I knew that was what she got me for my birthday…and I have been checking the mail EVERYDAY so excited for it to come. Thanks so much…It really is something I will always treasure.

That David sure is good at keeping secrets. We don’t have Spring Break until April 5, but I am excited about this Easter weekend. I am going to relax, sleep and read. Yipeee!
