Layering is the way to go when you are always the one that is cold. I love wearing a tank under a t-shirt then putting a cardigan over for cold times then just tying it around my waist when I get too warm. Saves others from being too warm on my account.

I have layers of love. As my relationship with my hubby has grown over the years, the love between us has been added to and changed and gotten more complex. And since our son was born, there is this incredible layer that surrounds all of us which is indescribable. These are the best layers of all.
Yes, I’m a layering fool. I usually layer tanks under most shirts. It’s hard with lower rise pants to be modest and keep your skin from showing just above your waist line. So I have tons of solids and patterned tanks to layer under my shirts to try to keep some modesty going. plus I’m pretty sure no one wants to see my booty hanging out when I bend over for something! I’ve never really layered my necklaces, but would love to try it! I really like your new website! It’s great! Oh, and I love those pearls! : )
I live in Wisconsin so I love to layer my bed with blankets, down covers and quilts. Even my reading chair has a layer of vintage quilts on the the back

i have a short, dark garnet necklace, that I got while on a mission trip to the DR, that I love to layer with a longer silver cross pendant. I’m usually hot, so I don’t layer clothers. plus I’m not so tall, and I don’t think layers add inches so I dont layer my clothes. hugs amy

Okay so as a hairstylist I love to layer hair products! Shamp & Cond to cleanse, body building or smoothing creme to set the foundation, styling product to shape the hair and some finishing spray for shine and hold!

One thing that I really love to layer lately is a long sleeve t-shirt and a colorful scarf/pashmina. I wear these to dress up an outfit, to warme me up when it’s chilly, and to make any outfit look instantly chic!

I always layer my shirts, usually it is a cami under a tee. I like my camis to be a bright punch of color, so when they do show it is a bit of a surprise.

OH THE SWEETNESS OF LAYERS!!! Jewelry is my favorite to layer. Especially when I’m so indecisive…the heck with it…wear them all I say! LOL!! Necklaces with charms, bracelets with a watch, rings upon rings, bangles on top of bangles. And it doesn’t stop there! Clothes are fun to layer and you can make like 10 outfits out of 5 pieces. Who wouldn’t adore that???? Then there’s food, but we won’t go into that one…once you get me started I don’t think I’ll ever stop!!….LOL!!!!
My favorite layer is when I’m all snuggled up on the couch with my two little girls watching a princess movie… legs all tangled up and warm snuggly blankets keeping us warm…. I just ordered my first necklace from you - I can’t wait to get it! Lisa

And my favorite fragrance too! I start with the shower gel and continue the “layering” with the scented powder, the body lotion and then the perfume. Rather than being overpowering, the fragrance lingers gently all day long.
My favourite way to layer is a tank top and my comfy “kangaroo jackets”. The ones with the pocket in front. So warm.
My most recent layering was my sister’s wedding this weekend. For some reason the dress I have had for 4 months didn’t fit the morning of! It fit around the waist, but not the bust. It was too big! That’s odd for me. So… I layered. One strapless bra, one corset bra, and four socks later… it fit. Oh well!

Like everyone else, I love to layer my tees, tanks, and sweaters. My summer “mom-iform” consists of layered tanks with capris. On a special day, I might even trade in the capris for a peasant skirt (which is layered, of course!). I also love to layer pillows on the bed, much to my husband’s dismay. There are currently 12 on our bed!

I love to layer…dessert. My mother in law has a punch bowl cake that is layers of yellow cake, strawberries, pineapple, vanilla pudding, cool whip. It makes me happy because it is yummy and it reminds me of how the generations overlap or “layer” together. It is an old family recipe that has been passed on for years.

There are so many things I like to layer…I love jean jackets over khakis and button ups…I love short sleeves over long sleeves, I LOVE LOVE LOVE to put my boys in button up white shirts with cute logo t’s over the top of them…I love to layer myself with 4 children hugging me…that is my favorite layer…oh and I adore getting one more year out of my daughters dresses by putting them over jeans…what a cute look!!!

I would love to layer MYSELF between the covers of a nice comfy BED! Hubby and I have been sleeping on opposite ends of the couch (since DECEMBER!!) while we remodel. (Doing the work ouselves to save $.) I don’t like to complain but I sure do miss our bedroom, and sleeping in a real bed. But still, count my other blessings…

I layer tanks under t-shirts but more often than not I am layering a sweater over a short sleeved shirt. It starts out cool in the morning then hot during the day then back to cool in the evening.

I’m the layer queen! My office is usually about 55 degrees, all year long. This spring I do a long sleeve t-shirt, a dress shirt and then a sweater. In the summer, its a short sleeve t-shirt and in the winter its thermals! I always wear a necklace to make my t-shirts a little bit more girly, a little bling takes away from the underclothing so to speak!
Another layerer (is that even a word) here! I layer tank tops under sweaters, leggings under skirts, and multiple layers of jewelry…
but, my favorite way to layer is cream cheese, refried beans, salsa, and cheese all warmed up and served with chips… yummy!
my fave way to layer:
one mom relaxing on the sofa (who happens to be styling a tee shirt/mens sweater combo)-
add: one tall 16 year old that still loves to snuggle sometimes and comes and flops on the mom-
then add: one big dog who still thinks she’s a puppy who flops on the 16 year old and the mom
= layered goodness

I also love stacking bracelets, beaded ones, bangles, what have you. If ya can’t decide which one to wear, where them all! Yesterday I saw a sweet lil’ tot with stripedy tights on with a striped jumper and yet another striped top underneath. Her mama saw me smile at her and she said apologetically, “She dressed herself.” I said, “Well, mom, layers are in, so I think you have quite a little fashion maven there!” The mom rolled her eyes but the wee girl smiled ear to ear!
Having just had a baby…okay, it was almost 8 months ago, I still look four months pregnant. I like to layer my spanx under a pair of jeans or a skirt. It makes me look thin and feel more confident. I also like to layer angel food cake, whip cream and strawberries, perhaps a major contributer to the need of spanx.

I love to wear a white t-shirt under just about anything. I also love to layer flannel quilts on my bed. My mother makes the most beautiful quilts and everyone in our family has at least one but most of us have many…we love to layer. They are oh so cozy!
Right now, I’m 18 weeks pregnant, so my layer is “one baby on the inside and one baby on the outside” as my 2 1/2 year old likes to say! I must say the dessert suggestions sound fantastic as well. Looking forward to adding a new circle to my mommy necklace in the fall!
My current fave way to layer is on my little boys. I love putting long-sleeve button down shirts on the with a shirt-sleeve 3-button sweater over it.

Layering is also great for the nursing mom. A tank top or something like a Belly Band underneathe can make any t-shirt as discreet as a nursing top.
I almost always wear two ribbed tank tops… whether they are showing or not. It is a comfort thing. I also love to wear dark jeans under dresses. Sassy, comfy and a bit different.

I also like layering my sandwich, cream cheese, salmon, watercress, sprouts and sprinkles of onions, does that count. I love layering long t-shirts with jeans on my girls. For me, I usually have a stretchy cami under all my tops on colder days. Not very sexy but it is quite snuggly since no breeze sneak sin under my clothes

I like to layer a close-fitting tank over a flowing, peasant-y top that has a lower neckline, so the tank peeks through at the top.

Layering in lasagna! Everytime I make it, I try different layers of different ingredients. When people then ask for a recipe, I have to remember what I did!!!
I love to layer dresses with jeans, or skirts, and add t’s, tanks,sweaters whatever!!! Anything goes!!!! I even layer clothes on my one year old..As for jewelry, I love to layer chains with anything beaded, long necklaces with shorter versions… it’s so fun!!!

I am such a cold person, that I am always layering up my clothes for warmth … I love the look too though! I love long sleeve tees with short sleeve over the top (plus a vest underneath for that added layer!!) I love the look of your necklaces layered though … I will definately be trying that out.

In Minnesota, sometimes layering is a necessity, due to unpredicatable weather. I spent the day working outside yesterday, and this Spring has been rather cool. I had a tank, two long-sleeve tees, a short-sleeve tee and a fleece jacket on! The weather got warm enough to lose a layer! Yay!
I love to layer a t-shirt over a long sleeve long john shirt!! I seem to always be cold so this is my way of not only staying warm but also being fashionable!

I love to layer too. Jewelry, jacket/coats (oh how I love a cute coat/jacket. Swing coats, a-line, princess coats, etc). A good jacket or coat totally ups the mommy wardrobe ante—it takes a tee and jeans to a semi-chic level if you wear the right jacket! (and accessories, especially if it is a Lisa Leonard necklace

I also “layer” by wearing my daughter (and a few years ago my son) in slings, pouches, and my Ergo baby carrier. A warm body next to you is the best layer of all!
In Girl Scouts, we were always told to dress in layers. You can always take something off…sometimes, you can’t change completely. LOL Like in the car, on the mountain trail or even, in the mall. So, I’d have to say dressing in layers is my favorite way. However, the pearls and silver necklace may make me change my mind!

We layer our cereals. One of my sons is very specific about this: first uncooked quick oatmeal, then Multigrain Cheerios, then Life (it’s called “cookie cereal” in our house), then toasted wheat germ, then finally in goes the milk!

I do enjoy layering my clothes, but I especially love to layer clothes on my 1 year old daughter Bronwynn! I love seeing her chunky little legs in her striped leggings, polka-dot onsie and jean mini-skirt!
The one piece of jewellery that I layer with a boy and girl birthstone pendants along with a diamond and cherish immensely fell victim to my baby daughters tugging hands yesterday…one day it will be repaired!

I have to wear a shirt at work that’s the same as everybody else’s. It’s short-sleeved, and the only way I can kind of assert my individuality is by choosing long-sleeved tees to wear underneath it that show off some personality.

Right now since spring is so chilly and damp here in Oregon…I layer by wearing a long sleeve shirt, followed by a short sleeve shirt and wrap it up with a snuggly sweatshirt…then unfortunately it will ultimately be covered by a rain coat and umbrella!

oh..I love to layer and so does my 7 year old daughter..For me, I like to wear a t-shirt..tank and then a cami..for Kylie..she puts on a t shirt, vest then a skirt and capris underneath..I love how she just throws it ALL together!!!
layering for me means…many bracelets, lots of little kids hugs all at once, toe socks with sandals on a cold sunny day, t-shirts and camisoles, and a cherry on top.
I mostly layer clothing. My favorite is long tanks under everything so as not to expose myself.
Lately though, since our weather can’t decide on spring or winter, I’ve been loving my pashmina wrap to keep me warm when the weather turns without making me too hot.

Best Recipe for Layers - Passed down.
Ingredients - Fall/Cool nights/Winter Pajamas/Hand knitted socks/BIG SMOOSHY LOUNGE/My name being called/2 kids/2 cats/One Husband and 1 Beagle
Method - take all ingredients and layer in whatever fashion, mix with Popcorn and a favourite movie, and spoon on a soft squashy blanket to cover all and sundry.
Layering a soft camisole with a soft, deep v-neck sweater… comfy and stylish!
Oh boy I love love love layering, My favorite is a tee shirt and then a sweatshirt, I love layering jewelry too.

i love layering! clothes especially, but what i REALLY love to layer are ingredients in cooking…just layering different herbs or spices, certain pastas, or sauces can change the flavor in a meal!

I love the layered look too, but for me it has a purpose. I am 5′11″ and many of todays tshirts and sweaters are not long enough for me, so i will throw on one of my longer tanks or tee’s underneath it, and I am fully covered!
Lately the most frequent way I layers is with children! One on each hip, or my 3 year old loves to climb on my back while I hold the baby! I’m sure one day I will get back to the fashion side of layering.

I LOVE to layer. Besides the obvious ways of shirts over other shirts, (which I sometimes often do “backwards” and wear short over long) I also love dresses over pants, AND my absolute fav is when you see that skirt in the store that is way to cool/cute/beautiful to pass up, but way to short to get away with, I layer over jeans! I also layer longer sheer skirts, or vintage skirts that are a little run down (it prevents wear and tear a little bit)
And of course I top ALL my outfits with the Open circle necklace. I love that necklace!
