Hi, I'm Lisa-mommy to my boys, David, 7 and Matty, 6 and wife to Steve. In between school and work we spend our time playing outdoors on the central coast of CA, eating chocolate chip pancakes, tapping tunes on the piano (David) and choreographing elaborate lightsaber duels (Matty). I create handmade jewelry and love taking pictures. Stick around and get to know us!
strawberries. sleep in. swim. sunshine. sisters. sand. sidewalk chalk. slow down. i’m so ready…

I wish I could slow down…summer is my busiest season. A very good thing to be so busy, but so hard to spend as much time with my kids as I want!

I found your blog through a friend’s…through a friend’s…through a friend’s!
My husband and I are school teachers, and tomorrow is our last full day, and I too can’t WAIT for summer! Everything you list is how we spend our three months with our three children.
Love your photos and your stories…

I am simply waiting for the warmer weather out in Southern California– and let the Vitamin D brings to our body and mind. Seeing all of the giggling children outside is fun to watch.

Lisa…. I can’t wait either, only 4 more days of school for the kids. Then, it’s stay up late, sleep in late, no schedule, no homework, swimming til dinner… grilling out, suntans, flip flops, laying in the grass, catching fireflies at night, camping…. Summer here we come!!! God is good!
