Hi, I'm Lisa-mommy to my boys, David, 7 and Matty, 6 and wife to Steve. In between school and work we spend our time playing outdoors on the central coast of CA, eating chocolate chip pancakes, tapping tunes on the piano (David) and choreographing elaborate lightsaber duels (Matty). I create handmade jewelry and love taking pictures. Stick around and get to know us!
yesterday matty told me i was ‘getting on his nerds’. um, yeah, i know the feeling.
xoxo, lisa

Thank you for my laugh this morning. I’ve been a bit introspective and quiet today as it is September 11th … stop by for a remembrance of this day. BTW, you son’s picture is beautiful … love the soften glow about him.

Since school has started we’ve given up naps. Which makes for crazy evenings. Nick (3 1/2) was running around trying to stay awake. I set him on the couch saying “You are out of control, it’s time to settle down and read a story.” He climbed onto my lap, held my face in his hands, looked into my eyes and said “I not out control, I Nicky Mom. I NOT out control.”

Yeah…..my “nerds” have been shot for a while. Patience is thin around here lately. Mine in particular. Everyone keeps telling me it is the age…….ummm, not MINE……my three year old. And I am sure it does not get better, so I better just get used to having frayed “nerds”…..learn to live with them and laugh more! Take care….too cute that boy of yours!
Warmly, Leslie G.

LOL! My 3yr old Jack tells me “I’m on your nerves.” When I ask him, do you mean that Mommy is on your nerves, he always replies “No, I’m on your nerves!”

Ha, ha! Good one! Lisa, is it normal for your blog to have more than 70 replies, or is it the subject of chocolate?
You are one popular girl!
