In between school and work we spend our time playing outdoors on the central coast of CA, eating chocolate chip pancakes, tapping tunes on the piano (David) and choreographing elaborate lightsaber duels (Matty). I have a question for you: When were you finally okay with letting someone else watch David? I’m having a hard time with trusting other people with feeding Bella - which makes it very difficult to get any alone time with Trav. I know she’s only 11 weeks old, but when did you find yourself okay with it??

Have been trying to organise one for ages, we were given a $100 Gift Voucher to a gorgeous seafood restaurant by the beach when Taelan was born - trying to find a good time to ship the kids to mums and relax for the night - there just never seems to be a good time…..
me and my hubby had a whole date day today! don’t you just lost those times of just you and the love of your life and no worries about what’s gone on during the week! we went to a movie, went Christmas shopping, and went to dinner…aahh. Now we’re going to relax in our PJs and hopefully sleep peacefully tonight! hope you had a good date night with your hubby!

Dan (my husband) and I just had our date night on Friday. It was far overdue and much needed. It was wonderful.

Leo and I had our date day on Friday - grandparents watching the kids - we went and saw the new James Bond movie, got some dinner and came home to our kids sleeping at Grandma’s! What a deal!!
