the new year is coming and we are cooking up some new things. so fun. i love a fresh start. 2009 here we come!! are you ready?
1. David plays with his new gears & gadgets toy
2. Despite gloomy skies and 100 mph winds, we take the kids on a bike ride
3. Watching cartoons Christmas morning
4. Matty unwraps the long awaited and much anticipated BATCAVE!!!!!!
Hope your morning was blessed!

max and matty had a blast today, running around in near the water in morro bay. then waffles for lunch …heaven. tomorrow we welcome family for the holidays! yay!!!

we are wrapping up the last of the rush orders and getting ready to wind down for some time with family. i’ll post some pics next week, but i plan to catch my breath and enjoy some down time. hugs!!

i have been cooking up some fun new things. i’m not sure if we’ll actually add this daisy ring to the site, but i’ve been enjoying it! we are actually in the process of building a whole new website that will launch in february or march. my brain is so full of ideas, i love it! anything you’d like to see on the new site??
the rain took a little break, so we went outside to say hi to the neighbors–two noisy geese. i think they wanted bread?! but we were just there to chat!!

matty did some puddle jumping, or puddle jumping in, rather! rain + dirt road = happy boys!

highlight of my day today? cocoa with hayden (and her sweet mama). i am in hyperdrive and working waaaayyyy to much and pushing through because next week, i am going to take it easy!!! hope you get to sip some cocoa today!
december is really, really busy for me. it’s crunch time, so i work a lot. so in the busyness, i am really trying to take moments to connect with the boys and slow down.

this week we cut out snowflakes to hang from the chandelier and colored our new coloring book with our new crayon roll. we are really into coloring lately. which is great!

a little extra snuggle in the morning is the perfect way to get started. we’ve been late for school a couple times this week, but oh well!

and a husband who is willing to do laundry, eat take out and have lightsaber duals definitely helps me keep my sanity. after this week, things will slow down a bit.
how are you connecting with your kids during the craziness??

dark chocolate covered peppermint jojo’s from trader jo’s & a cup of coffee. oh.my.goodness.
they are seriously helping me get through christmas crunch time! our internet was spotty yesterday–so i am catching up on emails. happy thursday!
i met our friends at the beach on sunday to let the kids run and take some pics. here are a few of my favorites…

thanks cheneys, for letting me practice on you. it was a blast!!

we were blessed with an amazing saturday, so i took the boys, my silver wreath and our new tripod to the beach. we had a blast. the boys were such good sports! i love the bottom picture where they are burying my wreath.
these boys need a trip to the snow–they have no idea what winter means!!

bundling up. eating pizza. running kids. sipping cocoa. marching band. twinkling lights. seeing friends. snuggling close. packing up. driving home. tucking in. sleeping soundly.

the sweetest little bug. a sterling charm about 1/2″ is hung from sterling chain. if you’d like to order one, please order tiny squares necklace and in the notes request the ‘little lady necklace’.
make sure to request 16″ chain for little girls!
*just a reminder, place all christmas orders by december 7th for holiday delivery. after the 7th, i will do my best to fill orders, but i can’t promise christmas delivery!!
