lindsey over at imperfect is making custom capes. it’s been really nice to have a superhero in the family. i highly recommend it. matty’s has a big ‘m’ on the back and you can choose your own colors for the inside and outside. go check out her blog and email her for more information.
here’s the party dress. it is from target. pretty basic, but it did the job. i wasn’t sure about the ruffles, but i only had one day, so i couldn’t complain! the boots are from ross. $20 and very comfy!

I’ve been watching your blog for at least 6 months now. I LOVE your stuff! I found you from a good friend I knew in SC… Angela @ Becoming Me. Anyhow, I now live in AZ (my home state) about 2 hours South of Phoenix. I drove to Phx today and bought some yarn to try that fabulous scarf! What a GREAT project. Great dress. Yes…Target came through for me too. Went and got a great party dress for a wedding this weekend and maybe even for a New Year’s party. It’s purple, it’s fabulous, it fits me great, and it was $35 bucks!
