• Hi, I'm Lisa-mommy to my boys, David, 7 and Matty, 6 and wife to Steve. In between school and work we spend our time playing outdoors on the central coast of CA, eating chocolate chip pancakes, tapping tunes on the piano (David) and choreographing elaborate lightsaber duels (Matty). I create handmade jewelry and love taking pictures. Stick around and get to know us!

Doggone it!!!! Totally missed it!!! I’ve gone every year. Used to be with my kids, walking with the Grace float, holding a banner for KLIFE, then with some youth and this year I just tuned it out - arrrgh. And I even told someone, who called me at work, she should go because it is a fun time. Looks like it was fun, as usual. I actually thought about it at about 9:15 last night. Glad to see some pictures.

Oh, how I love and miss SLO at Christmas time! Well, I miss SLO in general… What a fun way to get in the holiday spirit! Love the moms with coffee/cocoa photo - too cute!

Just leaving a comment.. Been reading your blog for quite a while, and love the photos you post.. Matty and David are the cutest, and you seem to capture their essence in each photo.
    Have a happy Sunday!

Bundled up???? Lisa, Lisa, Lisa….up here in Toronto it was -10C with the wind chill and the snow and wind were whipping across the street as we waited for floats. After 30 min. I could hardly feel my fingers. FREEZING! Now THAT’S bundling up!!!!

    Come for a visit. ;)

Wow, look at that tractor! And the bus! The Boy would be so excited to see that. And it looks like your boys had a blast!

I think that our Christmas parade will be next weekend, as far as I know. Fun times! :)

We’ve been doing the same here… Christmas parade last weekend, boat parade this weekend. Such happy memories of these traditions we are making for our kids :)

Ha Caralyn! You are right–we are total wimps here in CA. These boys need some real cold weather. Hugs!!

LOL, well, it served me right for complaining that yesterday was cold…today it’s -23C right now with the wind chill. The wind is whipping fiercely across the farmers’ fields, so much so that on our way to church my dd thought it was “foggy” out. Yes, it certainly time for a visit to Toronto. lol

Your photos are lovely. It’s nice to see how the southerners celebrate their Santa parade! ;)

That looked like such a fun time!

My daughter has that exact hat and scarf as the little girl in the bottom left picture. So cute.
