Hi, I'm Lisa-mommy to my boys, David, 7 and Matty, 6 and wife to Steve. In between school and work we spend our time playing outdoors on the central coast of CA, eating chocolate chip pancakes, tapping tunes on the piano (David) and choreographing elaborate lightsaber duels (Matty). resting.

resting

this weekend steve and i got away without the kiddos. i knew i needed some time to rest, but i had no idea how much. it was wonderful to do nothing but sleep in, take walks, watch movies and rest. it reminded me that i need to plan more time for rest into my week. more time to set the computer aside and do nothing. more time to let my body be still and my mind relax. hope you got some rest in this weekend.

This past weekend was a busy spring weekend for us…but we are looking forward to a relaxing spring weekend coming up. We already have special plans with family, friends, and our yard!

How wonderful for the two of you…every mom and dad need a little time to themselves…sometimes a little more than a little!! DH and I had a Date Night…because MIL was in town. And how wonderful it was to go to the Chocolate Bar and have a drink and then walk over and see “Duplicity”…Mhhmmm, Clive Owen…and oh yes, Julia Roberts.
