Hi, I'm Lisa-mommy to my boys, David, 7 and Matty, 6 and wife to Steve. In between school and work we spend our time playing outdoors on the central coast of CA, eating chocolate chip pancakes, tapping tunes on the piano (David) and choreographing elaborate lightsaber duels (Matty). i got some time with sarah today–long overdue and much anticipated. it was so so good. it’s been about 5 years since we’ve been able to chat and talk…just the two of us {no kids}. thanks for being real, sarah. thanks for letting me journey with you. i love you.

*this photo was taken with my nikond40 at twilight. then i used picnik.com duo-tone (under effects) to change the color scheme. so fun, but beware–very addictive!

I love when I get a little one on one time with my Girlfriends that I don’t see often.

I have gotten to see 2 in the last 2 weeks. One came to visit with her kids Memorial Weekend. She was a Godsend. My father passed away while they were here. She helped us alot.

Then another one showed up at our house to surprise us. She had come from your area for the funeral.

I really believe the saying about Friends being the family that we get to pick.

I know this will sound strange but I love my Silver Teardrop necklace. I caught myself rubbing it like a worry stone without even thinking….I love that it doesn’t make my hands smell like metal,

i. just. got. it. in. the. mail. THANK YOU SO MUCH lisa for my beautiful *family tree* necklace. i put it on the moment i took it out of the box. and i’ve been walking around saying, *have you seen my new necklace?* over and over and over to my 19-year-old daughter. i got a fabulous little coupon in my package as well and i cannot wait to order my next piece of gorgeousness. again, THANK YOU!
