stretched canvas prints

canvas

i’ve been wanting to do this for so long, and i finally ordered prints on stretched canvas.  i hung them on the wall above the dresser in our bedroom.  we used finerworks.com (which i googled and found to tbe the most affordable).  i am so happy with the results.  each print reminds me of a special moment and captures a memory.  of course there are about 20 more photos i want to have printed on stretched canvas, but i may need a bigger house…

  1. I would love to put some of my pics on canvas, how did you do that??? I just love your pics, I’ve wanted to try my hand at photography, just haven’t had the time.

  2. I really like your photographs here, Lisa. The angles and motives – close-up and glimpses other ppl wouldn’t normally think of. A real inspiration! 🙂 Thank you. 🙂

  3. Hi,

I just was introduced to your blog a few weeks ago and love it! Thanks for sharing your ideas and your family! You are precious!

I wondered what kind of canvas you used? Did you use gloss or matte canvas? Also, I noticed some of your pictures are black and white and colored? Am I seeing that right? Or did you use sepia?

    Thanks again! I appreciate you!

    1. hi taylore! i used a matte canvas with the protective coating. i antiqued all my pics before i uploaded them. sending hugs!!

  4. Aren’t canvas prints the greatest?! I’ve got an amazing 24×20 of a spiritual mentors hands on her well-worn Bible. Love yours!!!

  5. I would love to see your house. just all the little snippets from your blog make it look so inviting and cute. And I love the canvas prints. lovely!

  6. Beautiful!! I am going to have to get this done, I have alot of wall space to fill up…….
    Thank you for sharing.

  7. Love the wall! I looked at the site you got them from. You really need to check out mpix.com. We got our daughter’s bridal portrait in a 16×20 mounted and protective spray for $31. Their canvases are available at great prices, too. Maybe you can find an even better deal there!

  8. LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea. Thanks for recommending the site. I have a perfect spot for a few of these in my home too! Thanks Lisa! xo

  9. what kind of camera do you use? They all seem so clear and to be the same “color” sepia or what mode? Thansk for sharing the link too….Your style is so beautiful!

  10. Those are great, Lisa. I recognize a couple of them. Maybe when we move into a bigger place, I’ll check this out.

  11. oh, lisa… those are amazing. great choices. they really compliment each other and look like fantastic memories.

i have a photo of isaak picking up shells at seal beach. i had it blown up really BIG onto foam board at kinko’s. it graced my office for quite some time at the preschool i directed, and now it graces our living room. i love it. i was planning on doing some more. but i must confess, i’m kinda crushin’ on the canvas look.
