Hi, I'm Lisa-mommy to my boys, David, 8 and Matty, 6 and wife to Steve. In between school and work we spend our time playing outdoors on the central coast of CA, eating chocolate chip pancakes, tapping tunes on the piano (David) and choreographing elaborate lightsaber duels (Matty). grumpy boys and boardshorts

the boys were grumpy on saturday while we headed for the beach–and we only stayed about an hour, but we ended up having fun. this was one of the first times david has been willing to walk on the sand and gets his toes wet in the waves. and he looks so dang cute in his boardshorts! matty kept saying he didn’t want to go to the beach, but i think he had fun despite himself. what mean parents we are–forcing our kids to play at the beach–sheesh!!

Lucky you to be able to go to the beach for an hour or two! Our drive is a little too long for that!

In our house grumpy = space = survival. I don’t know why it is that when the sand is between your toes, the sun is on your back and you have your hand held real tight, that the world seems a better place

We are at the beach too and my kids tend to stay grumpy!! not sure why either. Oh well!

Can you share sometime the coloring you choose for your pictures? They just all have the same beautiful coloring and I love it!
