horses

there are a couple horses running around in the field across the street.  they looked so beautiful it didn’t seem real.  i’m not sure what our neighbors are planning to do with them–but i love watching them run and play.  my sister-in-law teri loves horses–shout out to teri!  thinking about you every time i drive by them.  have a great friday–yippee!!

seems so right…

we signed matty up for some art classes with bonjon art.  i was nervous that he wouldn’t want to follow directions (he has strong creative opinions) but he did great!  and the teacher is amazing.  today’s class was called ‘swinging monkey’.  i think it might be a framer!

some friends are camping nearby and invited us over for an evening of swordfights, campfires, sunsets, and tide pools.  we haven’t taken the boys camping yet, but it inspired me to give it a try.  maybe later this summer?  do you camp with little ones–any tips??

cultivating a thankful heart.

give-thanks

my friend sue has launched a line of sachet pillows that hang in your home or car to remind each of us that we have so much to be thankful for.  each sashet pillow is paired with a matching journal.  she calls the set the ‘sisterhood of the traveling pillows’ and encourages friends to enjoy the pillow and journal and then send the set to a friend so they can read our thankful journalings and then cultivate their own thankful heart.  i love this creative idea of thankfulness and community.  go check out her darling, affordable pillow sashets HERE.  so tell us, what are you thankful for today??

naptime

heaven smiled down yesterday and BOTH boys fell asleep in the afternoon.  I didn’t know what to do with myself–this hasn’t happened in years.  So I did what any smart woman would do…I took a nap too.  what would you do with a quiet hour in the afternoon??

grumpy boys and boardshorts

the boys were grumpy on saturday while we headed for the beach–and we only stayed about an hour, but we ended up having fun.  this was one of the first times david has been willing to walk on the sand and gets his toes wet in the waves.  and he looks so dang cute in his boardshorts!  matty kept saying he didn’t want to go to the beach, but i think he had fun despite himself.  what mean parents we are–forcing our kids to play at the beach–sheesh!!

winnerchicken dinner!  we usually stick to tide, but i am seriously going to go out and try some of these detergents–you make them sound wonderful.  lavendar, apple blossoms, i love it!  our randomly chosen winners are…

daniela

I try to use very soft detergents… with a jasmine perfume… and it’s so nice when I put them wetting to pass by and they smell so good… :-) PS: sorry for my bad english….it’s not my language! But I really love your necklaces! All of them! xoxo

I use tide mostly, but will break away from the mold if i find a good sale ;0) Love the necklace!
