• Hi, I'm Lisa-mommy to my boys, David, 7 and Matty, 6 and wife to Steve. In between school and work we spend our time playing outdoors on the central coast of CA, eating chocolate chip pancakes, tapping tunes on the piano (David) and choreographing elaborate lightsaber duels (Matty). I create handmade jewelry and love taking pictures. Stick around and get to know us!

birmingham, part 2

bham6bham1bham3bham4more pics for you.  don’t worry–steve was walking fast, but not running, so i think he was in compliance with the green sign.  i thought the ‘no parking’ sign was really funny with a row of parking meters next to it.  zoes kitchen was delicious-maybe they’ll open one up in california?!  white flowers boutique was surreal.  i loved it!  if you get a chance–it’s located in homewood.  thanks, shan, for the great tips on things to do in birmingham!

I think it is so cute that the picture of Steve on the stairs is right across your blog page from Matthias running - at least until you add another blog entry!!! So sweet!!

Great photos of my town! You captured it beautifully! A little known fact about Zoe’s - the owner John Cassimus is dating Cheryl Crow! They are opening more and more restaurants so hopefully you will have one soon in California!

I love the pictures from your visit to my state. I’m about an hour away from B’ham in Tuscaloosa. We have a Zoe’s Kitchen and it is one of my favorite places to eat.
