• Hi, I'm Lisa-mommy to my boys, David, 7 and Matty, 6 and wife to Steve. In between school and work we spend our time playing outdoors on the central coast of CA, eating chocolate chip pancakes, tapping tunes on the piano (David) and choreographing elaborate lightsaber duels (Matty). I create handmade jewelry and love taking pictures. Stick around and get to know us!

Whenever I am stuck for inspiration, I usually go outside. It helps to hear the wind, the birds, do a little walking, etc. Other times, I try to forget about coming up with an idea and read something by someone I find inspiring, which is sometimes other blogs, or books. Love your photographs, they are gorgeous.

Thank you for reminding me to sit quiet and allow inspiration to come. Prayer allows inspiration to permeate. God talks to me in the stillness. I need to turn off the distractions and sit with Him to be truly inspired.

Lisa, You make me want to be a photographer. Right now, I just use a camera. So, not the same thing.

What a B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. post! Coffee, is a MUST. Love the line “take a good look at the box. then think outside of it.” Thank you for being such an INSPIRATION! ;)

I find myself sitting with a notebook, jotting down notes. The only problem is I am a procrastinator and I spend half my life putting off something that would be awesome…if I would only DO it!
Thanks for sharing your inspiration process.

I was inspired tonight by my husband and my son! We went to help out at a Childhood Cancer Research Fundraiser - St. Baldricks -tonight and both my boys gave up their hair to help raise money to find a cure! I love my boys!!! My son’s hair just grew back in after losing it to his chemo treatments! What an inspiration!

Lovely lovely post, I really like how your page looks, is it difficult to space your photos together like that? I will be trying your apple crisp!
