last weekend we had a family session with jasmine johnson. we had so much fun–can’t you tell? the boys were comfortable and happy and we explored morro bay while she snapped pics. and i love, love the way they turned out. she completely captured us! and good news for locals!! she’s giving away one family session which includes a 60-90 minute session (on location) with online proof gallery and a $50 print credit. so fun!! leave a comment and tell us where your favorite place is for family pictures.

we love the shell shop and that wall is great! family photos maybe shell beach down by the great rocks, avila barn, pier in pismo…so many places to choose from in our area.

They turned out great. Boys look like they are having so much fun! You don’t see that much in family photos.
Favorite place? For now, I think Avila Valley Barn. Henry is TOTALLY obsessed with tractors and all farm type stuff! Love them, would love to update our family photo now that the girls are here!

i just had to pop in a say “beautiful pictures”. i’m not at all local, so don’t count me in on the contest, but i had to let you know how great they are. i especially love the black and white one closer up. we had some family pics this summer and i just love looking at them and haven’t tired of it yet!

We will be in SLO for Christmas with our extended family. We have never done a shoot with all 4 cousins - what fun that would be! We love Avila barn, the Mission, the park by the high school - what an awesome contest.

So…my question is…what do you use in your hair to make those curls so gorgeous? I had curls like that and then had three babies and now they have turned to fuzz. My hubby asked me the other day what I did with his curly-haired wife. (Never underestimate the power of hormones!)
Beautiful pictures! She’s amazing and I’m always looking for a good photographer nearby. One of our favorite spots from visiting for the summers and now that we are in SLO permanently would have to be Montana de Oro. Your pictures are beautiful and totally capture your fun family! My husband and I grew up in CA but we moved away for a while and then moved back to SLO a year ago with our two little ones. We moved here from Colorado…so we have lots of family pictures in the mountains, but I would love love love to have some family pictures taken at the beach!
