• Hi, I'm Lisa-mommy to my boys, David, 7 and Matty, 6 and wife to Steve. In between school and work we spend our time playing outdoors on the central coast of CA, eating chocolate chip pancakes, tapping tunes on the piano (David) and choreographing elaborate lightsaber duels (Matty). I create handmade jewelry and love taking pictures. Stick around and get to know us!

goodbye 2009, hello 2010!

2010.

that sounds so stange!  so futuristic.

our new year’s eve party consisted of kiddos running around, grandma and grandpa, a few gifts, lots of finger foods and a campfire.  we counted down, blew noisemakers and pulled poppers at 7:30pm.  early night as we had to put the kids down by 8pm!

the photos where taken with a tripod (or set your camera on a solid surface) while using a flashlight to create an image.  make sure the flash on your camera is off.

How fun, hubby and my eldest (8 years old) took quite a few pictures like that this past summer using hubby’s phone for the light. Yours look great, and it sounds like you had a wonderful celebration. Happy New Year!
