• Hi, I'm Lisa-mommy to my boys, David, 8 and Matty, 6 and wife to Steve. In between school and work we spend our time playing outdoors on the central coast of CA, eating chocolate chip pancakes, tapping tunes on the piano (David) and choreographing elaborate lightsaber duels (Matty). I create handmade jewelry and love taking pictures. Stick around and get to know us!

That’s how I spent today. Things are under control now… at least for the moment. Good luck with your settling back in, and Welcome Home!

It’s Wednesday back to school for us, but the domestic chaos is similar. Here’s to re-entry!

    awwww shucks! Monday already.
We’ve got a lot of chaos in the kitchen to sort out after having guests for dinner last night.

I am starting out sooo slow… and very not ready for Monday! Maybe homeschooling in our jammies will be on the menu!

Nothing a trip to Target to start out on a Monday! I am longing for some coffee, and may just have to make a pot this afternoon. Glad you had a great trip. Despite some woes towards the end of 2009, I am looking forward to 2010! :) Hugs to you!

Here’s to 2010 and getting back in the regular groove! My kids and I sort of drug our feet this morning not wanting to embrace the day after two fun-filled weeks but alas we must! We must start the new and embrace all it will bring to us!

My laundry is caught up - i am slowly de-christmasing the house and looking foward to making a few simple decorating changes! Anyway - have a great day!

We did this with sparklers on New Year’s Eve. So much fun!

I love the term “re-entry!” It’s been a great couple of weeks out there in orbit, but it’s time to come back down to Earth. I started back to work this morning, and since it’s my afternoon off, I thought I’d try to get a good start on The Great Christmas Takedown before the kids get home. Hmm. It’s 3:00 and the most productive thing I’ve done is to get a Diet Coke out of the fridge. Guess I should get at it…

Sometimes having fun means making a mess - I’m just going to try to re-live the fun while I clean up the mess! (AND… I’m looking forward to my necklace that my hubby ordered for me for Christmas! Anticipation!)
