• Hi, I'm Lisa-mommy to my boys, David, 7 and Matty, 6 and wife to Steve. In between school and work we spend our time playing outdoors on the central coast of CA, eating chocolate chip pancakes, tapping tunes on the piano (David) and choreographing elaborate lightsaber duels (Matty). I create handmade jewelry and love taking pictures. Stick around and get to know us!

Big snow last night, no school today, being cozy at home, baking muffins and cookies and wearing jammies all day. I’m forever touching my LL necklace as well, so comforting.

This list is making my Monday lovely…the idea of intentions simple enough to follow through. I’m off to write down my own intentions for the week.

I am with you, normal routine.
And the outlook for a less busy week ahead of me!
….and a handful of leftover candy hearts.

    Great list.

What is making my Monday? Hmmmm….I’m having a brand new engine installed into my truck and it’s costing less than my husband and I anticipated. That is always a good thing!

    Lovely Monday…
It’s 9:25 and we’ve finished our homeschooling for the day, including practicing piano.
Only one whining incident which was resolved quickly.
The sitter’s coming over at 11:00, so I’ll hit the gym & do a little grocery shopping.
Dentist appointments for the girls at 2:00.
Making dinner and staying at home tonight.
Doing each of these things without rushing. Being intentional to be present in each moment.

Glad to hear you are free of doc visits for the week. :)

I truly have had a lovely day. Meet up with some great girlfriends and we all went hiking with our pups. Then we had lunch at a little cafe and just chatted the afternoon away.

Great way to start the week.

    Sending you smiles!

I really love your photography, it has a serenity about it that is so soothing to me, no matter what is happening in my day! Thank you so much… It’s Tuesday morning here in New Zealand and what made my Monday was going to my very first Zumba dance exercise class - I have arthritic hips very young but am determined to do my best to do all the moves! Was such fun and a great way to start the week, laughing! Later the same day I kayaked in the surf at a gorgeous beach 5 minutes drive from home and body boarded on very small waves (still fun though). All in all, a great day!

What gorgeous photos again! I had a Drs appointment for one of my twins - the car park was absolutely packed with cars waiting to get a space. I prayed out loud, in faith, in front of my 5 year olds, and after a car got in our way and made us a little behind the queue of other cars, a space suddenly appeared just in front of us (as a car unexpectedly pulled out), right in front of the hospital entrance. It was astounding!

Hope you have a wonderful Monday Lisa! Fantastic that this week is Dr free:) Our littlest one started daycare this morning, so my Monday isn’t feeling very lovely right now ~ more a little sad and lonely with out my little sweetie. But your gorgeous photos and post has made me smile ~ Thank you! ~ Tina x

  27. Robbin on February 23rd, 2010 12:13 am

Today Dan and I took a walk. We went to a Mexican restaurant just a few blocks away. It was good and I’m glad it’s close by so we can walk. Wish we had some other things a little closer that we could walk to, but we do have some cute little shops I could browse through. The walk actually got me a little more motivated to do more walking…or maybe I’ll get my 1967 bicycle tuned up and try riding that, if my knees will let me.

As always, I love the pictures you posted. It’s good to see David smiling and not having to go to the doctor at this time. And you look beautiful as ever. Give hugs to Steve for me.
