Love this! I think I would put it by our back door and write fun and inspiring messages on it so everyone can see it on their way out every day. Would love to add that extra encouragement to everyone’s day.

  2. Whitney Bray on March 30th, 2010 9:06 am

Super cute! I’d leave love notes to my children for sure but would probably leave a “to do” list, too!

  3. Mique on March 30th, 2010 9:18 am

Love Rachel. Love RVA. Love that chalkboard.
What wouldn’t I do with that chalkboard? The possibilities are endless. I’d take some cute pics of my kids with it (love yours btw). I’d hang it by the phone in my kitchen. I’d use it for the market that my sis and I are hosting soon.

  4. Sophia on March 30th, 2010 9:22 am

I would use the chalkboard bubble to leave notes for my family.

  5. Whitney S. on March 30th, 2010 9:26 am

I would love to have one to hang in our school room so I can surprise my boys with messages each day.

  10. Becky on March 30th, 2010 9:39 am

So cute! I would remind my husband to take out the garbage and that I still love him even when he forgets! Also write out the word “quiet” when the older kids get home from school:)

  11. elz on March 30th, 2010 9:40 am

I would use the bubble as a photo prop for my kids’ thank you notes- write what they say in the bubble and snap and send!

  12. Polly Walters on March 30th, 2010 9:47 am

Such a cute idea. I would use the chalkboard bubble to leaves notes for my children as they leave for school each day. The mornings seem so hectic that I want to make sure that above all else, they are loved every day.

  13. Emily on March 30th, 2010 9:47 am

Cute idea! What a good way to leave your hubby love notes everyday!!

  19. blissmamaof3 on March 30th, 2010 9:54 am

Oh! How cute is this? I’m currently in 4 photography classes. I’d use the bubble to identify the techniques used in my homework images. I’d also use it for captioning the images I take of my children. This is just too cute!!

  20. Tricia on March 30th, 2010 9:55 am

I would use it to leave notes for my husband since he leaves for work so early in the morning.

  21. Jenni Roseland on March 30th, 2010 9:56 am

I LOVE THIS!!! I would love to use it for a photoprop! What a great idea!

  22. Melinda on March 30th, 2010 9:56 am

That is too much fun! I think I would hang it in my hallway next to my photo gallery for fun little messages. We call it a photo gallery but it is really just a collection of framed pictures of my family!

  23. Michelle on March 30th, 2010 9:56 am

Im obsessed with this bubble!! I first saw it on RVA and PolkaDotRobot blogs! I would take so many more fun pictures if I had this bubble!! I love to share my thoughts so this would be perfectttt! <3 Michelle

  24. Leslie on March 30th, 2010 9:58 am

Oh, I know exactly how I’d use this! Whenever I go on getaway weekends with my best girlfriends, i have a chalkboard that says “I am _____” on it. We fill it in as the mood strikes, and someone takes a photo of the person who added the comment with the board. It’s a hoot! This speech bubble chalkboard would be the perfect thing to accompany it, for more random observations! Thanks for the chance!

  25. Coralee on March 30th, 2010 9:59 am

I’d use it in my baby belly photos to announce the name - so cute!

  26. Moriah Sunde on March 30th, 2010 10:01 am

I would totally hang this up somewhere in my baby’s new nursery! It would be pretty hilarious to write stuff on the board that we think he’s probably thinking at the time, but really wishes he could say

  27. Anna on March 30th, 2010 10:01 am

These are amazing!! My 6 year old triplets are learning about ’story bubbles’ in school and include them in all of their artwork! They would get a kick out of filling in words and messages. I would love to use them for ‘happy thoughts’ daily as well, a great reminder of what thoughts we should have in our head every day! Thank you for the opportunity!

  28. cait on March 30th, 2010 10:01 am

I love these! I would hang it in my kitchen to write down recipes and leave little notes for my boyfriend in the mornings :)

  29. Courtney on March 30th, 2010 10:01 am

That chalkboard is so cute!!! I think I would hang this above a framed family photo so we could add our own captions.

  30. Allison on March 30th, 2010 10:02 am

I am a patholocial picture taker, so I’m pretty sure I would use it as a prop for photos. I think it would also be great to use for homemade invitations or thank you’s because you could really personalize them by making your own little note (save the date) or by putting the date right on the chalkboard bubble and taking a picture! Love this! Love your blog too, I’m a follower and not afraid to admit it :-)

  31. Courtney K on March 30th, 2010 10:03 am

I would hang this in our living room by the door so we could write messages to each other. These are great!

  32. Stefany on March 30th, 2010 10:03 am

So cute! I would take pictures of the bubble with love notes on it - and then send picture mail to my hubby (and other loved ones) while he’s at work!

  33. mindy t on March 30th, 2010 10:04 am

I would hang this in my kitchen next to where my hubby gets ready for work every morning, I am always up late sewing after hubs and kiddies go to bed and he is off super early in the am so i always try to leave hime a note. So this would be perfect! I have been trying to get one for months but they are always sold before I get to RVA.

  34. Becky Hayes on March 30th, 2010 10:04 am

I’d definitely use it in pictures but also as a way to leave messages for my daughter, etc. Very cute!

  35. Tamara on March 30th, 2010 10:05 am

I love these…there are always sold out by the time I go to buy one. I would you use a chalkboard bubble by the door so I could leave weird messages for my husband as he leaves for work:)

  36. Kathy on March 30th, 2010 10:06 am

This is *perfect* for putting up new quotes everyday. To remind myself to think, create and be aware of my life each and every day!

  37. Cheryl Sims on March 30th, 2010 10:06 am

I would give this chalkboard bubble to my daughter so she could leave sweet messages to her hubby and 2 kids. Lots of hugs in this chalkboard!!!
    Cheryl Sims

  38. Ashley on March 30th, 2010 10:07 am

I’m teaching my sons to read and write, so I think this would be so fun for us!

  39. Becky on March 30th, 2010 10:07 am

Love it! I could use it both at home and in my classroom as a versatile photo prop. There are so many wonderful ideas listed already that I would love to “borrow”: photo love notes, invitations, as a caption above other picture frames in the house.

    The possibilities are endless!

  40. naomi on March 30th, 2010 10:11 am

I would put it in mt kitchen, right next to the baking cupboard so I could write all the things that we need to get for baking…but it’d look like the cupboard was telling us it was out of chocolate chips!

  41. Tumzers on March 30th, 2010 10:13 am

Love the chalkboard! I would use it in pictures with my daughter - displaying her little infant thoughts… and then I would keep it in the kitchen so I could bug my husband with my notes!

  42. Stacey J. on March 30th, 2010 10:14 am

I love it! I have a 7 month old son and I’m sure he would love to scribble on it. I’d also like to put it on the table by the door and write reminders or love notes to my husband on it.

  43. Samantha S on March 30th, 2010 10:14 am

love it, cute, cute , cute

  44. Jessica on March 30th, 2010 10:15 am

I WANT TO USE THEM AT MY WEDDING!!!!!! I’m getting married in less than 9 months and would LOVE to have everyone write us a message on them & take photographs!!! Would be a cute alternative to a guest book :)

  45. Katrina on March 30th, 2010 10:16 am

These are the best!! Could I put it over my son’s bed and write “Mom, you’re the best!” Okay, maybe not, but I probably would hang it somewhere in my son’s room. :)

  46. Jennifer on March 30th, 2010 10:17 am

How fun! I love all the pictures using it as a prop. I can see my kids (and my husband for that matter) using it to make our dog say things. I love chalkboards as decorative items, too, and would probably put one in my kitchen.

  47. Kelli on March 30th, 2010 10:17 am

I would put it up in our kitchen and write the menu for the week on it!

  48. Erin Prais-Hintz on March 30th, 2010 10:18 am

I need to do more documenting of my family life in pictures. I have a great camera that doesn’t get used often enough for taking pictures of my family. I think this would be a fun way to add an element of fun to the pictures and a way to document what someone is thinking. Thanks! Enjoy the day! Erin

  49. lnkmom on March 30th, 2010 10:19 am

Ok, this is just too fun!!!! I would hang it in the Kitchen at Kiddie level. Then I could write little love notes to them! Thanks!

  50. ashleyTIA on March 30th, 2010 10:20 am

ooo! I was trying to come up with photo props to take to the cherry blossom festival- how cute would this be?! :)

  51. Lisa on March 30th, 2010 10:20 am

I leave for work very early in the morning while my husband and children are still asleep. The chalkboard would help me assuage my working mother guilt by giving me a central place to leave them all love notes so we all feel connected as we start our day.

  52. Casey Kirkland on March 30th, 2010 10:21 am

These are so cute! I would use mine to write cute little notes to my boyfriend.

  59. Katie on March 30th, 2010 10:32 am

So fun! I’m hoping for a family photo shoot–our first casual shots together, as all we have are our wedding photos!–later this year. How much fun this would be as a special prop.

  60. JenFlen on March 30th, 2010 10:33 am

I love the bubble!! How stinkin’ fun?! I would maybe put it in my son’s room so I can leave him messages and he can write on it, too. I love LOVE the idea of using it in photos. I think it’d be cute in the kitchen or mudroom, too, for little messages to be left by anyone. Endless possibilities for awesome family fun!

  61. Whitney on March 30th, 2010 10:35 am

The picture possibilites are endless! I’d also use it to write my hubby sweet messages that he would see before leaving for work. :)

take pictures and see what my little boys come up

  67. Angela Pak on March 30th, 2010 10:45 am

Darling, darling chalkboard. Despite whatever I would want to write on it, I know that my kids would love this. I would post it by the back door for goodbye messages, where we can remind ourselves to be kind and positive.

  68. Melissa on March 30th, 2010 10:47 am

I would use it to leave notes for my kids each morning. I stay home with them but wouldn’t it be awesome to wake up and see a note from dad when he leaves for work! Also, bible verses to keep my focus throughout the day! Love this!

  69. Abbey on March 30th, 2010 10:48 am

How cool is this?!!!?!?!? I would definitely play around with it in pictures, just as you have!

  70. kate wille on March 30th, 2010 10:49 am

I am an Autism specialist for a large school district and I offer support and strategies for many teachers and students - I would use a chalkboard bubble to write words of encouragement and hold them up in the classroom doorway windows to let them know that they are doing wonderful work!

  71. Cait on March 30th, 2010 10:50 am

I love this chalkboard! I’d put it on my front door so neighbors can write me messages (like who’s returning which cake pan or bread loaf.) The picture of Kimiko made me cry- I miss her so much. Give her a hug and kiss from me!!

  72. cakegirl on March 30th, 2010 10:51 am

I would use this to remind my teenage daughter everyday that she is beautiful. Girls today can not be told enough that no matter what size , shape, color or whatever that they are beautiful.

  73. lauren on March 30th, 2010 10:54 am

i would put it up in my soon to be babys room!!! …or in my sewing closet cause i think its cute and then i could look at it all the time :D

  74. Alissa Sharp on March 30th, 2010 10:54 am

I would love to have one of these so I could write inspiring messages for the day for my girls and husband. I would also think it would be cool to get one for my daughter who is going off to college for her to hang it on her dorm room door for messages.

  75. Kara L. on March 30th, 2010 10:54 am

I would use it at my wedding this summer for guest to write on & take pictures!

  76. megan on March 30th, 2010 10:56 am

I would love to put it on my mudroom door and leave messages for my husband to read before he leaves in the morning, I am sure that if I did that after-a-while he would get the hint and write some back to me as well. :)

  77. debbie on March 30th, 2010 10:58 am

I’d use it for love notes to my kids, and husband. also, it would be a great photo “prop”! what a great way to send a Happy Birthday message to a loved one - a picture of the family holding it!

  78. Rebecca Clemmer on March 30th, 2010 10:58 am

I am 5 weeks away from giving birth to my first child - Lucas Reed! I would write him notes on this chalkboard bubble. I would tell him how much I love him already and how we can’t wait to meet him. Once he is born, I think I will leave notes for his daddy from Lucas - i.e. “I slept for 3 hours today, daddy! ” or “we missed you today daddy!”. How cute for our baby boy to “talk” via this adorable message board.

  79. Shawna Schoonmaker on March 30th, 2010 10:58 am

I’d hang it on the wall in the boys’ room and write messages on it while they sleep. That way they’d be surprised with a new message each morning!

  80. Kimberley on March 30th, 2010 11:01 am

My family loves chalkboards and this chalkboard bubble would make a great addition to our home. I would leave messages for my adorable kiddos and sweet husband. :-)

  81. Tiffany Day on March 30th, 2010 11:01 am

    Hi Lisa,

Thank you so much for this opportunity! I REALLY would like a bubble chalkboard so if I am not fortunate enough to win one, I DEFINATELY want to get one from Red Velvet!!

I would put the bubble on my “counter space” (my area in the kitchen) and leave notes for my sweet husband and wonderful kids! It would be so fun, especially since I leave before they get up - most days - and I would also use it for photos - oh how fun and creative that would be!!

Thanks Lisa! Have a wonderful day!
    xoTiffany

  82. Sandy on March 30th, 2010 11:02 am

I would replace it right where I had my larger one that fell and broke. I miss it so much. I used to leave encouraging messages for my family and I would take photos and post them online for others. I miss it and if I don’t win I hope RVA gets more soon.

  83. Jessie Wilson on March 30th, 2010 11:03 am

I would use it to take a picture of my kids “saying” Happy Birthday to send to relatives on their special day…

  88. Tonya on March 30th, 2010 11:16 am

Oh how perfect is that?! I just love it! I’d love one over each of my kids’ beds to put messages of sweet dreams and love.

  89. Heather on March 30th, 2010 11:19 am

I would use them to send “Happy Birthday!” photographs to friends and family who live far away. This is a great idea! Thanks for the giveaway.

  90. Jenny Matlock on March 30th, 2010 11:20 am

Hmmm…. Why I need a chalkboard bubble. Because then I can make my weiner dog communicate better. I can make my husband say what he’s thinking (or I can write what I think he’s thinking so he can correct me which would then, actually, tell me what he’s thinking). Accck….I can’t go any further. My brain hurts now. But thanks for the giveaway.

  91. Kristen on March 30th, 2010 11:28 am

Oh my goodness! So darn cute! Today I have no voice due to a cold (or is it allergies, I can’t tell!) but I’m realizing how useful my voice is in mothering my three boys home for spring break! Yes, there is the inevitable breaking up an argument or asking them to stop doing something but more so I’m missing the opportunities to tell them I love them or that they are a rock star! I would hang this speech bubble in our kitchen for all to see so I could post the love thoughts that are running through my voiceless head right now. I’m choosing not to complain but rather thanking God for the reminder that I need to use my voice for those sweet words more than the sour.

  92. Francine on March 30th, 2010 11:28 am

How cool! I’d use it to write my One Little Word for the year and hang it above my desk. And probably also everything else mentioned. lol

  93. Anna G on March 30th, 2010 11:29 am

Lovely! If I had one I would leave daily messages for my husband each morning before I head off to work.

  94. S Club Mama on March 30th, 2010 11:31 am

I would teach my son to write letters and numbers and shapes on it (and the next son, too).

  95. Lori on March 30th, 2010 11:32 am

Oh..I would so use that for pictures! It would be awesome to let the kiddos write something on it and take their pics. It would get a lot of use, because I take a crazy amount of pics and document everything……

    ♥ it!!!

  96. Courtney on March 30th, 2010 11:34 am

    first thought: engagement announcements!!

then totally on a wall by a door, just to make self laugh at people coming through it and not know what the bubble says…. i bet some of the best candid pics ever!

  97. Heather on March 30th, 2010 11:38 am

I would use it as a prop while taking pictures of my precious son!

  98. Jordan F on March 30th, 2010 11:45 am

mmm… I think I’d do what you’ve done… use it as a prop in pics of my daughter! Super cute!

  99. Megan Meyer on March 30th, 2010 11:47 am

My husband leaves the best love notes, but not so often these days as we’re busy with our little one. I’d like to turn it around and use this to leave more notes for him. Trying hard to always let him know he’s still my #1 guy (even though there is now a tie for 1st place).

  100. Karen P. on March 30th, 2010 11:47 am

I love the idea to use it in photos. But letting the kids write on it would happen the most around my house!

  101. Southern Gal on March 30th, 2010 11:47 am

I struggle to give enough encouragement to my son when we homeschooling. I tend to pick out what he’s doing wrong and not the things he’s doing right. I know. Horrible. I think this would be a great reminder to put something on it everyday that stresses what he did right that day so he can see it as well as hear it. That’s the first thing that popped up in my thought bubble! ;)

  102. sarah b in VA on March 30th, 2010 11:57 am

this would be oh so perfect in our playroom!! :)

  103. Christa on March 30th, 2010 11:59 am

Oooh! I need this! I have been swooning over chalkboards recently and planned to incorporate one into my new home when I move this summer - if I had this I could use it now… for everything: leaving notes for my boyfriend, making lists, photo props… everything! It’s so cute!

  104. Heather Ippolito on March 30th, 2010 12:01 pm

Darling!!! I can think of a million things I want to do with it: leave love notes in my hubby’s car, do a photo shoot with the whole family, and hang it by the door with notes to myself. Thanks for the chance to win!

  105. Lemonade Makin' Mama on March 30th, 2010 12:05 pm

You had me at “chalkboard.” What can I say? I’m slightly addicted to them. LOL

  106. MommaKiss on March 30th, 2010 12:06 pm

Oh, I’d leave little notes for my almost 5 year old. He’s learning to spell and read. How Fun!! !

  107. teresa on March 30th, 2010 12:08 pm

    OH!! HOW FUN is this!!
i would take it out on our next girls/mommy night out (End of April)!! It’s my b’day and what a fun thing to bring for everyone! — it would make us laugh all night. & i just happen to have just bought new chalk! — i painted a giant chalkboard on my kitchen wall for daily scripture and new words to learn :)

  115. Sara on March 30th, 2010 12:19 pm

Another great giveaway!!! I think it would float around our house and never actually find a “home”. This looks too good to keep in one place anyway!

  116. cindy on March 30th, 2010 12:20 pm

This would be the perfect thing to hang next to our computer. Maybe as the spot to write down all of the books that we’re planning on checking out during our next library trip! Right now we have loads of little sticky notes all over the computer desk. Whenever someone gets inspired for a new book, they write it on another sticky note - and then a couple of notes fall off the desk - and once a month someone crawls under there and discovers all of the book ideas that we’d hoped to find at the library! What a cute way to get organized! Thanks!

  117. Kelly Calkins on March 30th, 2010 12:24 pm

We moved into a new house a year ago and still have no decorations up! I think this would be a great start! I would place it either by the front door or in the kitchen- leave notes for my family or draw little designs to spice it up a bit!

  118. Laurel Riffey on March 30th, 2010 12:29 pm

  125. Carla Taylor on March 30th, 2010 12:53 pm

  213. Angel on March 30th, 2010 8:17 pm

Being a military family, my husband is in-and-out of port all the time. I’d have him write a note to our kids (7,4,11mos) and leave it on the breakfast counter so when they wake up on a morning that he’s gone out to sea, they’d know their daddy is thinking of and missing them. Then I’d use it and write “Go ask your dad; I’ve got the weekend off” when he’s home! LOL

Oh I LOVE this! I’d tote it back and forth from home to work. At home remind my son about his chores in an oh-so-fun way… write messages to each other and hide & seek them… and at school we’d practice dialogue! How perfect would that be???

  223. Rhea on March 30th, 2010 9:04 pm

i heart the chalkboard! we have a chalkboard in our kitchen and i love having quotes on it. my 12 year old emily leaves me notes on it. love it!!!!

  225. Marisa on March 30th, 2010 9:07 pm

Oh my goodness. No sure what exactly I’d do with this (love notes to my hubby every morning? Bible verses in my little boys’ room? practicing different fonts like a dork in my craft room?). Believe me, that sweet little chalkboard bubble would definitely have a place in our home. :) Love that you have creative friends like Miss Rachel. Birds of a feather. :) So. Stinkin. Fun.

  226. Crystal on March 30th, 2010 9:31 pm

This is the perfect prop for the photoshoots I enjoy shooting so much! I can already think of so many ideas for couples, especially.

  228. Wendy Orme on March 30th, 2010 9:37 pm

I would use it to send my son notes so he won’t think I’m bugging him by talking so much about what he needs to do.

  229. Cara on March 30th, 2010 9:40 pm

Oh, this chalkboard is so cute and fun! I love it as a photo prop, but mostly likely I’d use it to leave love notes on it for my kids…

  232. Kylie on March 30th, 2010 9:51 pm

I love, love, love these. I’ve been trying (without success) to buy one for a couple of months now!! Everytime I look, they’ve sold out!!! :((( I wanted to use it like you have, with sweet notes in family photos as well as having it hang it in my kitchen/living area for family and friends to leave fun, random messages for each other depending on our moods…

  233. tami on March 30th, 2010 10:20 pm

It would be super fun at home with my girls, especially my 7year old who loves to leave love notes…but I’d probably sneak it away to school and use it there. Perfect fun tool to help my 23 ESL second graders practice self expression and conversation. We use small white boards for TONS of stuff, but the “throw back” blackboard would be a hoot!

  234. Julie L. on March 30th, 2010 10:26 pm

I would love to use it to take the classic first day of school pictures. I would write the grade, year, and teacher. I would also like to use to to write messages on, snap a photo, and have it serve as a photo greeting card, like Happy Birthday Grammy!

  244. alex on March 31st, 2010 2:07 am

I’d use it for two things:
    1) to say hi to my 2 year old who misses me the long days I work full time as a high school teacher
    and
    2) to remember why I’m working full time - to build our dream home and lay the foundations for our life together!
Words are so inspirational if used correctly.

  245. Jessica on March 31st, 2010 5:34 am

If I had this chalkboard bubble I would use it this summer when I drop my son off for camp - Camp Twitch and Shout (a camp for kids with Tourettes). I would give it to each child and have them write their favorite thing about camp. I’d create a camper’s book to give to the director’s who have worked so hard to make this camp a reality. Of course I’d also use it at home with my boys too!
