i have a soft spot for my little sweet grandsons. The youngest was only 6 months old when my husband died (l0 months ago), and my heart hurts sometimes to know that he won’t remember grammpa. The 3 year old remembers the last time he saw grammpa. He was in a coma. He was at home in a bed. I had pulled a chair next to the bed, had my grandson on my lap. We decided that grammpa would love to “blow bubbles with us”. So grandson and i blew bubbles toward grammpa so he could “feel” the bubbles around him. The next day my husband died. That little piece of time will always be a soft spot in my heart.
