  2. The greatest LOVE of all time. Our heavenly Father giving us the greatest, grandest gift of all time….SALVATION!!!! It truely is a time to reflect on what love is and open our hearts to receive love and also for us to give love to those around us. Show your love through action to those that are dear to you. That is what is so special to me about this wonderful time of year.

  3. My favorite thing about Christmas would have to be the warm feelings…from the lights, the smells, and the love given all around our home….yup…that’s it 🙂

  4. Love the ornaments. What a special idea for the tree. I LOVE items with my kids names on them. Great giveaway.
    Cheers from Utah

  5. One of my favorite things about Christmas is STILL staying up til wee hours in the morning (It gets later each year!!) to put out all of Santa’s gifts – even though my boys are now 17,15,10! I love the looks on their faces when they see their pile of gifts that “Santa” left! Oh! And they still love this too!
    LOVE.
    Suzanne

  6. Favorite parts of Christmas are Celebration! Making Memories! Spending time together! The music’s not bad either! Love Love Love Christmas
    MERRY CHRISTMAS!

  7. It’s hard to name one favorite about Christmas, but this year it will be that my whole family will be together again. I sent my daughter off to college in Colorado this fall and it has been lonely without her. I can’t wait to have her home in California again for Christmas!

  8. I LOVE WHEN MY HUSBAND HANGS THE LIGHTS OUTDOORS FOR CHRISTMAS! EVERY YEAR. HE GETS SO EXCITED! HE ALWAYS HAS TO HAVE THE MOST LIGHTS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD- A TRIBUTE TO NATIONAL LAMPOONS CHRISTMAS VACATION! HE DOES IT ALL IN ONE DAY SO HE ENDS UP BEING OUT THERE FOR HOURS – GOING UP AND DOWN- UP AND DOWN. I LOVE IT WHEN HE TELLS ME TO COME OUT AND TAKE A LOOK AT THE FINISHED PRODUCT @ LIKE MIDNIGHT- HILARIOUS!

  9. I love, love, love the traditions established at Christmastime. Luminarias in New Mexico and just being with my family which is hard to do being in the military. We pray we can get home for the holidays this year!

  10. My favorite thing is baking all the traditional cookies that we only make this time of year…snickerdoodles, rum balls, etc. So fun!

  11. we set up my father-in-law’s old Lionel train to run around the tree…and my husband has so much fun doing it!

    Love the new ornament 🙂

  12. I love being with family at Christmas – my family is all scattered, so Christmas seems to be the one time we come back together. I also love getting ornaments each year and then remembering the why or story behind each as we unpack to put them on the tree!

  13. My favorite part is the traditions. We have so many things we do with family, and it’s just comforting to know exactly what to expect. It just makes me feel home, wherever we are.

  14. I think my favorite part of Christmas is all of the amazing smells & the Christmas lights. I love to burn Christmas scented candles to make the house smell festive. When I bake Christmas cookies, that aroma is heavenly. I love to sit in the evening with the house lights off and just feel the peacefulness around me with just the Christmas tree lights on.

  15. now, since we were blessed with our small boy, christmas is fun again. so, my favorite part of christmas is having him and seeing all of it through his sweet eyes. one of the things that always takes place is that we listen to kenny rogers’ christmas album while putting up and decorating the tree. my mom was a lover of kr and that is just a little something that has trickled down. your ornament is beautiful.

  16. Sorry…. I forgot one important thing. We also have given up making gifts a big part of Christmas. What our family does now is we take the money we would have used on presents, and donate a Christmas meal to a few families who are in need so they have a special dinner to share with the ones they love, too. It’s nice to share the blessings we’ve been given with those less fortunate.

  17. I LOVE Christmas. I love the smells, baking, lights, the magic of it all, especially now that my daughter is old enough to understand everything. However, my most favorite thing about Christmas is going to the Christmas Eve candle light service with my family and worshipping God. It’s magical, I am so full of gratitude and thanksgiving, and I have the most important people in my life there to share that experience with. We then go home, and enjoy each other’s company and have snacks and just sit around and talk. It’s awesome!

  18. Is it cynical to say Christmas vacation ;} I love time with my kids and I really love the years we can go to Ohio nad spend it with the fam-even if I complain endlessly about the cold!

  19. I love gift giving – the search for that perfect item, the anticipation, the look on the face of the recipient when I’ve gotten it just right – love it!

  20. I love the excitement of the holidays, the magic of the decorations, the excitement, and spirit of the season, It makes everyone seem to feel a little bit more joyful, and thoughtful.

  21. There are so many things I love about Christmas (spending time with my family, holiday decoration, making cookies and fudge). I love all your designs!

  22. I love seeing my little boy’s faces when they run to the Christmas tree Christmas morning and when they discover that yes indeed Santa really did eat the cookies and drink the milk!

  23. How on earth am I supposed to pick a favorite thing about Christmas?? Okay, being together. I mean we are together a lot in our family, but it feels so much better, so much warmer, at Christmas!

  24. my favorite thing about Christmas is what we do to celebrate the day that CHrist was born. It starts by having our girls wake us up so we can share breakfast and open gifts. After a morning at home we all go down to The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center (where my husband and I are the ministers) and we set tables and serve our men (and sometimes some of their family) Christmas dinner. We pass our Christmas stockings filled with chocolate & snacks (because chocolate really can make you feel a little better!). After the meal we clean up and go home to watch a movie. Christmas is a great day, we spend time together as a family, we share the love of Christ with others who are hurting and we end the day as a family. Does it get any better?

  25. I love the smells of Xmas, cinnamon, pine, apple spice! The beautiful tree and decorations! And the chance to spend it with family and friends.

  26. I love the vacation time that comes with it!!! And the (even though it’s short) break from basketball my coach of a husband gets. And spending time with family. And the food! And the warm layers of clothes that hide the extra food. And the love. And the extra shout outs Jesus gets.
Wait… we were only supposed to pick one? That’s way too hard……

  27. My favorite part is our donation. We give half our budget away. One year it went to Heifer International, one year to gifts for foster kids. This year, friends joined us and we have adopted two families with five kids…I’m so excited. It’s all anonymous but I can mention it here….

And we already bought that ornament for our second son’s first Christmas, my boy’s are the best gifts of all! Can’t wait to get it in the mail!

  28. my favourite part about christmas is being close to family…. I moved to a new city for school and christmas means going home 🙂 this christmas is extra special because I am moving back to my home town December first!! I am SO excited to spend December with everyone I love getting ready for the holidays!!
Thanks for the chance to win! I love love love this new ornament! I bought last years ornament for every member of my family last year and it was the perfect gift… but I forgot to get one for myself! This would be the perfect fix!

  29. My favorite thing about the holidays is spending time with my family. Baking with my mom, watching silly christmas movies with my dad, finally getting to see my brother after a few months. I can’t wait till the holiday season starts up!

  30. My favorite things about Christmas are the smells (food, fire, tree, etc), but I *love* buying gifts for people! Especially my children-it’s so fun to see their faces when they open their presents. The ornament is beautiful! I’ll have to get at least one!

  31. It’s difficult to choose just one thing, but some of my favorites are white lights, carols, tree skirts, cookies, the scent of pine, candlelight services… and snow (I hope!) The ornaments are gorgeous.

  32. Can’t wait to see my boys’ faces as they see what Santa brought them this year. And, yeah, I’m also looking forward to my brother’s homemade egg nog! Yum!!

  33. I love the look on my children’s faces on Christmas morning, and spending lots of time with family and friends (eating yummy food!) Heck, I love it all!

  34. My favorite thing about Christmas is having all of my family together. I grew up 30 miles from my grandparents and most of my cousins, so we were close and saw each other often. As we have gotten older, married and now have our own families, children and in-laws, it has been harder to get together throughout the year. I enjoy just having down time and reminiscing. ([email protected])

  35. My favorite thing about Christmas is having my husband home from work. To spend time with all four of us as a family is priceless to me. I also think going to Elgin to cut down a tree ranks up there pretty high on my list of favorite things. This year my 3 year old thinks she is going to cut the tree down… with her scissors. That may take a while;)

  36. My favorite thing about Christmas is decorating the Christmas tree while drinking hot chocolate and listening to some Michael Buble with my husband. I love that giddy, exciting feeling I still get with Christmas!

  37. My favorite part of Christmas is all the traditions that come along with it…making gingerbread houses, baking cookies, using the kids’ Little People nativity set to tell the Christmas story, bringing out and listening to old Christmas music, decorating the Christmas tree…the list could go on and on and on…

  38. Right now, I love the little tiny tree my husband and I put up in our little apartment. It’ll be our 2nd “married” Christmas together and I know that it’ll be sweeter than our first! That’s what my ornament would say “Sweeter than ever” 🙂

  39. My favorite thing about Christmas is the smile on my grandchildrens’ faces. There is so much to treasure in those smiles.

  40. My favorite thing about Christmas is attending the Christmas Eve Candle Light Service with my family. By Christmas Eve evening, everything is done and it is time to sit back, relax, and celebrate the real reason for the holiday! My family attends this service together and it is so special. Our church does a wonderful job with this special service, which ends in communion. I look forward to it every year!

  41. the excitement of my kiddos, being with family, the candlelight 11pm Christmas Eve service at church, decorating the tree . . . I love Christmas.
Oh, and the birth of my Lord, let’s not forget that one!
    Blessings,
    Shana

  42. I LOVE LOVE the traditions that we do each year. We have a boy that will be 2 in February & I’m so excited to see the joy that he has with the new gifts. Christmas will be so different this year than last! xoxo

  43. Hi Lisa.
Snowflakes are a favorite of mine. I would love to have an ornament with the names of two dear friends who died this year. Doretta had a long time in icu and finally passed away from heart trouble. Barb was buried this morning. She was a nurse practitioner in oncology and died, ironically enough, of liver cancer.
Both were special to all 25 of us at my convent in Rochester NY.

  44. Having my daughters and dad visit all the way from Toronto, Canada makes Christmas so special for me…we just really cherish these times together!!

  45. My favorite thing about Christmas is the family time. Not just the day of Christmas itself but the whole week. I soak it all in! And this year it is my first Christmas with my husband in our new home. We will start our own Christmas memories and that is very special too! 🙂

  46. My favorite thing about Christmas is the mix of old and new traditions – from cookie baking to having potato soup and warm rolls before our Christmas lights drive on Christmas Eve. We’re a military family and rarely get home for the holidays. We’ve combined traditions from both of our families and started some new ones of our own over the years. While we miss being with our families during this time of year, our traditions let us have the same feelings wherever we are.

  47. My favorite thing about Christmas is celebrating the actual meaning which is our Savior’s birthday! It is also my mom’s birthday so we always sing Happy Birthday to her and Jesus!

  48. These are beautiful Lisa! I love everything about Christmas but mostly the anticipation of seeing the wonder of Christmas through the eyes of my 20 month old son this year…I hope he loves Christmas as much as I do!!

  49. I love Christmas traditions- looking forward to doing the same things every year is so relaxing for me! And I love the Snowflake Ornament!

  50. I love the new ornaments! My favorite thing about Christmas is that I married my best friend on December 15th-3 years ago. When the Christmas trees start coming out and all the decorations, it reminds me of such a sweet season in my life!

  51. I LOVE that ornament! Snowflakes are my favorite during the season. I am mostly looking forward to spending time with the family. I love being snowed in and just cuddling up in a blanket by the fire watching movies. <3

  52. I love having friends come to the house for our annual caroling party. It’s the start of the season and an opportunity to see old friends, new babies and everyone we love in one place!

  53. favorite part(s) of Christmas! the music, togetherness with precious family & friends, pretty decorations & celebrating the birth of our Savior!
another beautiful design, Lisa! love it!

  54. Oh, it’s all about the tree, and the lovely light it gives off. It’s only November 12th, but can I put one up already?

  55. Sitting by the fire when it is soooo cold and crisp outside. The house full of the smells of apple cinnamon air fresheners that I only buy during the holiday season, the christmas tree, and possibly some baking. The twinkly lights of the christmas tree, and of the neighborhood decorations. Going to the mall to walk around and enjoy the buzz of holiday time. Sewing or knitting gifts for loved ones.

  56. I love the the spirit of the season – the conviviality, the food, the music, the magic of twinkly lights. I love to sit next my tree with a cup of tea and listen to my kids bake cookies with my husband. I love watch their faces when they see a piles of gifts with their names on them under the tree.

  57. My favorite part of Christmas is all the family time! I love seeing family – even if I have to drive to 3 different places in one day. I just love family!

  58. The reason I love Christmas so much (my fav holiday) is because of my mum. There are not a lot of great memories of my mum due to her alcoholism, but Christmas was her favorite and she would sing “Silent Night”, her eyes would twinkle and fill up with happiness for the first time of the year, she would decorate the windows in white cling-on Nativity scenes and snowflakes. It’s so good to be reminded of that time, and now we are in our first home, I’m so excited to put up our {new} Christmas tree and celebrate Christ’s birth with my children.

  59. I love the time with my family, my grandma’s sand tarts (that she only makes at Christmas) and the twinkle of lights around town. But I love Christmas the most because it is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ! Thanks for the chance.

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  60. I love the feel that is in the air. The lights, the colors, the smells. Putting up my tree and then going to my mother’s house & putting up her tree (it’s tradition). Wrapping presents the prettiest way possible. Spending time with those I love.

  61. i love that my teenage children still want to cuddle on my bed with my husband and i and listen to me read ’twas the night before christmas….and my husband and i wrapping all the gifts on christmas eve while watching ‘scrooged’ and enjoying some nibblies and a glass of wine….driving around on christmas eve and looking at all the pretty lights….and pulling out our favourite christmas movies and spending time together all cozy on the couch….

  62. I LOVE Christmas morning. There is no hustle of the holiday season and we don’t have to be anywhere. Me and my boys (now a daughter too) just stay home in our cozy house & spend the day together.

  63. Snuggling under cozy blankets while staring at the soft glow of tiny white lights on the tree and a flickering fire and reading the story of God’s amazing-grace gift to the world.

  64. I’m not sure I could keep this as an ornament. When the holidays are over, I’d want to wear it! It’s beautiful. I love to celebrate the birth of Jesus, and to spend time with our family. We especially love watching all of the old and new Christmas movies. I know, kind of corny, but we all really enjoy it.
    Blessings,
    Marcia

  65. My favorite thing about the holiday season is the music. Christmas carols played on organs, children singing “Jingle Bells”, or a choir singing “Silent Night” totally puts me in the holiday spirit!

  66. I LOVE LOVE LOVE snowflakes! That is the theme of my tree and all the decorations on my fireplace manlte. I love that God made each and every one of them totally different, but beautiful just like us.

  67. I love, love, love decorating for Christmas! This year I am anxiously awaiting my 4.5 ft pink Christmas tree [along with all the others]… I cannot wait to see them all lit up! True beauty. Also the warmth of family and friends and snow. Christmas is not Christmas without the white snow 🙂 thx Lisa

  68. Well besides the obvious: family, traditions, food, Christ, etc. I love Christmas lights! On Christmas trees, houses, etc. Their glow brightens my heart. I love the drives to go look at lights. Walks through Temple Square especially with fresh snow. The glow from the tree with all the house lights off sitting with the kids either talking or reading stories. I love Christmas!

  69. Can I rule out Jesus’ birth because that’s a given? My next answer would be that feeling of peace on earth; that sense of calm and caring that takes over the world for just a few hours each year. It gives me hope…

  70. I love shopping with my mom at Christmas. Last Christmas, I remember standing in line to purchase our Angel Tree gifts for a family in our community. Mom looked at me, while she was paying, and we both had tears in our eyes! I can’t wait to get the tree up, pick our angel tree family, and then head out to the mall to shop with mom!

  71. Where to start? My favorite thing is the smells, the food, being with family. The opening & exchanging of the gifts. The laughter. The warmth. Everything. It’s perfect. Not as fun as it was when I was a kid. But I try to bring the memories back each year. =) Great giveaway!

  72. the holiday cheer! the music, the lights, the excitement, the hot chocolate. I love it all. My house starts Christmas November 1st, our tree is already up! We take 3 weekends to put up lights, we’re a bit of extremists in the Christmas department.

  73. I love taking out the Christmas ornaments and remembering who I got them from, or what they represent. It’s a trip down memory lane!
    b.

  74. My favorite things about Christmas is breakfast (pancakes, hot chocolate, and Christmas music) and giving someone that extra special gift.

  75. These ornaments are just darling … along with everything else in your shop!

I just LOVE the Holidays. My favorite part? Anything that has to do with the kids … probably watching their groggy little bodies come alive on Christmas morning!

    xoxo,
    April

  76. I love that Jesus is the Reason for the season – and since I live in America, I can’t say MERRY CHRISTMAS to anyone I want to!

  77. I love staying up late, sleeping in late, staying in PJ’s all day and drinking lots of really good coffee. I also really enjoy the Christmas Eve candle light service at my church.

  78. Beautiful ornament. Reminds me of my favorite thing snow and the purity and newness of Jesus as He is born at Christmas and snow reminds me of Him

  79. Beautiful ornament!
Tough question to narrow down, I love everything about Christmas! At the top of the list is my Alabama Christmas album…it reminds me of my happy childhood memories

  80. What a beautiful ornament! We love everything about this time of year and would love to have a new, personalized ornament to put on the tree.

  81. My favorite thing is decorating the house which means getting out my Swarovski crystal ornaments and hanging them on the metal ornament tree on the side table where they catch the afternoon sun. How many more weeks until I can put them out? *sigh*

  82. I love so many things about the holidays, but some of my favorite times are late at night, in the living room, with the only lights coming from the fireplace and the Christmas tree lights—something so happy and peaceful about it!

  83. I know it is cliché, but I love being with friends and family. We are military and are never living near home so the holidays are especially special.

  84. I like pretty much everything about it. The choir concert at church (my girls are in the choir). The chorus concert at school. Picking names for the grab bag. Picking names off of the Xmas tree at church and shopping for prople to try to bring them a little bit of the holiday spirit. The excitement of my children on Xmas morning just can’t be beat. It seems to go by so quickly.

  85. I love EVERYTHING about Christmas but my favorite thing about THIS year will be getting my baby girl (due 12/26). This ornament would be perfect for her first!!

  86. I love everything about the entire Christmas season… especially being a mom and seeing Christmas through my kids’ eyes!

  87. My favorite thing growing up was the annual trip to the special christmas store and picking out our annual ornament…I’m thinking this is the year to start that tradition with my own children.

  88. Family slumber nights under the tree telling Christmas stories and enjoying each other’s company. NO TV. Just the lights, the tree and family. This year we get to do it with the grandchildren. Can’t wait!

  89. getting to see all of the ornaments that we have collected over the past 16 years that represent my marriage and son!

  90. My favorite thing about Christmas is taking a picture of the kids on the stairs before they see what Santa brought. My husband always stalls to torture them. It’s the kids favorite picture too.

  91. That I get to have the sweet memory of going into labor on Christmas after all the festivities, and the next day I got to hold my first child. 15 years ago this Christmas. A beautiful baby girl that we named Annah.

  92. I love the magic of the Christmas season and so many things.. hot cocoa, christmas lights, baking cookies, christmas shopping (in my jammies online, of course!), the excitement of the little ones in the house, wrapping presents, and so much more.. I love your new ornament- it would make a great teacher’s gift!

  93. my parents used to place our stockings at the end of our beds. The feeling of something heavy at the foot of the bed was the most exciting part about Christmas. Then all my sibilings and I would wake each other up ( hours I might add before the parents) and open our stockings together, and sharing in our loot! We had so many traditions growing up, that I love making my own now as an adult and cannot wait to make new ones for my children.

  94. I love EVERYTHING about Christmas but the one thing that touches my heart every year is when I hang my two sons first pair of baby shoes in our Xmas tree. It’s a family tradition … my Mom hangs mine on her tree and I hang my boys on mine. No matter what has happend in the past year when you hold those little shoes and hang them on that perfect branch you heart just melts and your remember all of those special moments.

  95. My favorite thing about this particular Christmas…. Eli coming home from college! His first time home since leaving for the windy city in mid-August…! Yay for homecomings, reunions, hugs and happy tears 🙂 Thank you Jesus 🙂

  96. Love this new ornament. Our son got married last year at Christmas and I would use this for an anniversary gift. They used snowflakes to decorate for their wedding. Very pretty. Anyhow, my favorite thing about Christmas is a no brainer–family!!!
    Cheryl Sims

  97. My favorite thing about Christmas is my grandma’s homemade candy. Each year she would spend hours making peanut brittle, divinity, and million dollar fudge. When I was a little girl, I use to sit on the counter top in her kitchen and watch her as she mixed all of the ingredients. I couldn’t wait for the day that she would let me use her magical mixer! Several years later, I got my chance, and I really thought that I was something. Two years ago my grandma had a stroke, and she lost her ability to use her hands, but that didn’t stop the Christmas candy. Today the tradition continues, but Grandma is the one watching, and I’m in charge of it ALL!

  98. My favorite thing about this time of year? I guess that would have to be spending it with my loved ones. I love that we focus on Christ and other and not ourselves. I love how beautiful and clean everything looks with a fresh coat of snow. And my most favorite? Snuggling up with my sweetie and little pets while a snow storm rages outside!

  99. I love the reason, Christ’s birth. Then I love the shopping and deciding what to get everyone and finding ways to make it special.

  100. i LOVE the whole advent season and reliving the Christmas story…but i also LOVE:
    the fireplace going
    christmas music playing
    hot cocoa sipping
    christmas tree lights glowing
    candles burning
    and family loving

and i LOVE the new ornament! fabulous.

  101. Beautiful!! My favourite memories are the times spent with family…. driving and all getting together under one roof to create some great memories. I enjoy seeing the different generations together , nothing better.

  102. WOW! I LOVE that new ornament!!! so beautiful, Lisa!

I love everything about Christmas, but I guess if I had to narrow it down my favorite part about it is all the family time.

  103. I’ve always loved Christmas music and the garlands and lights everywhere. Now, though, I think my favorite part of Christmas is the actual day, and how calm and quiet it is. My husband is a pastor, so the weeks leading up to Christmas are very very busy for him (and for me, too). We get home from the Christmas Eve service around 12:30 or 1am. Having all of Christmas day is so peaceful and wonderful after such busyness (and merriment!).

  104. I LOVE decorating our Christmas tree with my boys every year… they each get a special ornament celebrating a special event in their life from that year. I love picking out their annual ornament, finding the perfect spot on the tree, and remembering all the memories from their ornament collections.

  105. this is lovely! it would be great to customize as our first christmas being married! 🙂 my favorite part of christmas is the carols… i just LOVE christmas music! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!

  106. My fave thing about Christmas is the very coziness of it. It’s cold outside, and everyone’s gathered happily inside.

  107. Gorgeous, sweet and simple ornament. I love it. My favorite thing about Christmas is the sheer pure joy on my littles faces the night before and morning of. It is like no other.

  108. My favorite part about Christmas is showing love by giving to various charity organizations and baking for friends. I also love decorating with my snowpeople. 🙂

  109. Oh, its the magic in Christmas that I get to see thru my children’s eyes! I feel like a little kids when I get to see them experience it all. lights, food, family crafting, giving and getting♥♥♥

  110. Such a pretty ornament. I love being with family most of all. Having fun together, participating in our traditions, etc. Nothing better.

  111. I love Christmas tree hunting. Hiking through the field, searching for THE BEST tree, trying to fit it in the car then the house- making it stand up straight. Such joy.

  112. Decorating the tree is my favorite part. Actually, unwrapping all the ornaments and remembering where I got each of them. I love the memories this ritual brings.

  113. I don’t even know where to begin … I love every piece of Christmas … Jesus’ birth; the beautiful lights; the kindness that seems to multiply during the season; the cool air; the anticipation, especially if you have kids; the wonderful movies … everything seems to sparkle!

  114. I love how everyone in the family expects to be together and makes time to share some of the joyous feelings of Christmas with each other no matter how busy they are!

  115. We are a young family and creating Christmas traditions. I love thinking about what things we want to do every year! Baking cookies, lighting candles as we decorate the christmas tree, advent calendar, etc.

  116. I love how magical everything normal suddenly feels. Cinnamon rolls are sweeter, cups of cocoa are somehow cozier, the fireplace is toastier, time together is even more special. No other day like it!

  117. can you supply the measurements for this little cutie? i’ll check the website to see if they’re there, but if they’re not, would you? i’m thinkin’ these would look ADORABLE attached to a handmade card.

my favorite thing about Christmas is the sweets: all the different cookies and candies and pies and other yummy things people gift each other during the season.

thanks for the chance to win. i’m seriously stoked about this ornament and will have to purchase if i do not win.

  118. My favorite part about Christmas is hearing all the inquisitive questions asked by my four little guys all under the age of ten. The wonder and excitement definitely fills the air in our home surrounded by fresh baked cookies and hot chocolate on a cold winter day. Bright lights, round rosy cheeks and homemade snowmen are also a favorite as well. Being surrounded by family is the best!!!

  119. What a beautiful ornament! My favorite things about Christmas is the memories of past Christmases & the making of more Christmas memories. I try to remember our Christmas traditions but I usually forget something & we often creat new traditions. My husband & I have been collecting snowflake ornaments since the year we were married, almost 27 yrs. now!! I live in CA now but my favorite thing about winter/Christmas is still SNOW!! Wishing you & your family a blessed Christmas!!

  120. My favorite thing is the look on our daughter’s face when she wakes up from a nap to see a Christmas tree in the living room sparkling with lights. Priceless.

  121. My favorite thing about Christmas is sitting late at night when it’s quiet with all the lights out except for the Christmas Tree lights. It’s so peaceful and gives me time to think about what the season really is all about.

  122. I love a tree from a farm! They are so pretty and smell so wonderful. Of course all of the holiday goodies are an added bonus.

Oh, and I love decorating with snowflakes. They are one of my favorite Christmas decorations, that and snowmen. I live in FL so maybe that’s why I like them so much. haha 😉

  130. My favorite thing about Christmas is having some downtime with my kids…..every once in a while we *need* a “pajama day”!

  131. The lights, spending quiet time with family. Shopping for the gift or making the perfect gift knowing that someone will love it and seeing the look on their face when they open it.

  132. It would probably be seeing my entire family. We only get together a couple of times a year as we are spread out over the entire country. It great to see how my nieces and nephews have grown and changed.

  133. My favorite thing about Christmas is spending it with my family. 137. I love this ornament! I am trying to expand my ornament collection this year. 🙂

My favorite thing about Christmas is that my whole entire family is together. That is really the only time every year we all get together. We eat, laugh, sing, joke, and eat some more. I will always remember opening gifts in our hotel room. Since my immediate family (parents and sister) are the only ones from out of town, we always stay in a hotel over Christmas. We get back late on Christmas Eve (technically it is Christmas by then) from one celebration, open all our gifts from each other, then climb in bed and “sleep in” until we have to get ready for celebration number 2. 🙂

  138. The best thing about Christmas is not really a thing but a feeling … it the anticipation of seeing joy on your loved ones face, excitement that just burst through the children’s expressions, the traditions that families treasures and continue to create each year and most of all – being with the ones you truly love and taking the time to enjoy the now! I love spending hours looking at the tree and remembering Christmases from years before – I can’t wait to get the new ornament for our tree and treasuring it too from years to come!

  144. Hi! I found you through baby Ewan’s website. I have a 2 year old daughter that has a severe heart defect and she is our miracle. She’s not supposed to be here but she is and we are so grateful. My favorite thing about Christmas is having my children with me. It’s a blessing I will never take for granted. Looking at your jewelry I was wondering if you can make fingerprint pendants? Beautiful craftsmanship!

  145. I love hanging out on Christmas day not leaving the house and staying in jammies most of the day playing board game. just being home!

  146. My favorite part of Christmas is the time we spend together as a family, remembering our Savior’s birth, and celebrating the life that He has blessed us with. Christmas music would be a close second, though 🙂

  160. My favorite part of the holiday season is going into the woods to find the perfect tree. The hike is great fun and the hot cocoa with marshmallows snuggling by the fire to warm up after is the best.

  161. My favorite thing about Christmas is the music. I love it all!

I’m most excited for next Christmas…I am getting married next year, so it will be my first Christmas with my (now) husband-to-be!

  162. I love everything about the holiday season! It is the start of cooler weather, long walks with the family, the smell of yummy foods. Most importantly it is about being with family.

  163. We go to Elgin tree farm the day after Thanksgiving and tromp all over it looking for the perfect tree. After we cut it down, we haul it to the road, and wait for the tractor to come “pick up”. On the way back home, we stop at Southside Market for BBQ with about 2oo other like-minded tree farm customers! Then we get it up and decorated before the night is over as the leftover turkey bones simmer for some great soup! We sit around the TV, watching a Christmas movie and eating soup and loving the smells of the fresh tree! i look forward to this one day more than anything!

  164. My favorite things of Christmas is the smells. From the sweet smell of the Fraser Fir tree to the smell of chocolate chip cookies that I’d smell when I awoke on Christmas morning because my BROTHERS had made them the night before, to the smell of the outdoors when snow was in the air. Yes, it is a good time and we wait eaferly this year with granddaughters, Bella and Cece, who are now 6 and 5 and old enought to feel the excitement!!

  165. My favorite thing(s)–because I can’t pick just one– about Christmas are being with family, my mom making strange things for my father like Oyster Stew for breakfast because they are his tradition, and hearing my mom talking about each ornament on her tree and where she got them from… We always get dated ornaments every year and this one would be really neat to give her.

Getting the cinnamon buns in the oven, lighting up the tree, brewing the coffee and putting on the Christmas music!

  181. I love, love Christmas Eve. No, we don’t open presents until Christmas morning, so I love just the simplicity of the evening and the anticipation of the children. I get tears every year singing SIlent Night by candlelight at our church and treasure the memories from years past.

  186. One of my favorite things to do during the Christmas Holiday season is for the family to sit by the fire in our PJ’s, with the Christmas tree lit and all together read the Christmas story. It is such a great time for all of us to come together and talk about the birth of our Wonderful Savior. We also enjoy a cup of Hot chocolate together!

  187. I love the beauty of the season…snow & twinkling lights & all the wonderful memories we make as a family during Christmas.

  191. I love sitting in the dark after the tree is decorated. All lights are off except for the little white lights on the tree. It is such a peaceful setting to reflect on the celebration of the birth of Jesus.

  192. I love going a huntin’ for our Christmas Tree. We all get dressed in our fleecey best, silly hats, gloves and boots, to go find the perfect tree for us. The kids run through the homemade forest, and us parents enjoy a moment alone, We can never quite believe how blessed we are. So, that’s my favorite part of Christmas.

  196. I love the way Christmas smells. It’s a mix of pine, cinnamon, old, and new. When you open the boxes of ornaments and decorations that have been in the attic, that smell just brings a flood of memories back.

  200. My favorite thing about Christmas is getting up on Christmas morning and having a BIG breakfast of fried ham, sausage, bacon, biscuits w/white milk gravy, grits with lots of butter and black pepper (cheese for the kids).. maybe some muffins.. Then it’s time to gather around and open presents with my girls and my wonderful husband… Then to just be together! God has blessed me so much!

  201. My favorite thing about Christmas is using an advent calendar to count down the days and savor the true meaning of the season.

  202. Favorite thing about Christmas is how fun it is for the kids, I usually have a certain day I wrap all the presents and the kids are outside my bedroom door waiting to carry each one down to put under the tree. I put one out as I wrap them and they can’t wait..two of them are teenagers now and they still hang outside my door when they know I am wrapping presents! Its a riot!

After all these years, they are still interested in the ritual of carrying the gifts down…I’m sure shaking them and trying to guess what it is on the way to put it under the tree!

  203. I love our annual Christmas tree hunt! I might miss it this year since I will be SO pregnant, but usually the hike in the woods is my highlight! Fun, family, nature, beauty – all because God is so good!

  204. Favorite things – Christmas Eve services at our church, followed by Chinese take-out….all of our ornaments on all three (!) trees…reading the Christmas story from the Bible the first thing in the morning….being the one who wins the unofficial Christmas game – to make someone cry with a gift that’s just THAT special (I’ve won often!)

  210. So hard to say what my favourite thing about Christmas is……LOVE the whole season!! But I suppose it would be the time spent as a family 🙂

  211. I’ve never really been into Christmas. I mean, not the way a lot of people are into Christmas. I love spending time with my family, giving presents, and the fun holiday traditions my family and I share, but never got caught up in all the hype. This year is different. This is my first Christmas with my boyfriend and seeing how excited he gets about Christmas and hearing him make all sorts of plans is knocking the Grinch right out of me. As of right now he has more than enough Christmas spirit for the both of us, but I’m starting to look at Christmas through his eyes and I’m loving it again. I’d actually love to get this for our first Christmas together!

  212. How do I choose? There are so many amazing things about Christmas-the relaxing family time, the excitement about seeing people we only see a few times a year, my little boy’s love for the live nativity in our neighbourhood, sitting in a room enjoying the glow of a beautiful Christmas tree & rejoicing in being the best gift imaginable-Jesus! I would love to add this ornament to our growing collection!

  213. My favorite thing is being together with family {and extended family} taking time to reflect on all the blessings we’ve received ~ especially the ones undeserved!! I’m already planning to order this ornament to add to our LL collection 🙂 so I’d give it as a gift if I won!!

  214. I love the decorating. It gives us some time in between the holidays to be together as a family and re-live the time when our girls picked out certain ornaments. It is fun to tell them the stories and to see all of our old “decoration” friends again! And the house looks so magical when it is finished!

  215. The thing I love most about Christmas is celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ and all he has done to change my life, my marriage, and the way that I mother my children. And of course I love the time I get to spend with my family 🙂

  216. I love decorating the tree! My family makes it a point to buy an ornament every time we go away on a trip, so when it comes time to decorate the tree it brings back all the memories of all our family vacations. Plus, I love how the Christmas tree makes the whole house smell so good!!

  217. My favorite part about Christmas…wow that’s hard, I love setting up the Christmas tree’s and getting the house all decorated. I have a thing for white twinkling lights. Okay, I admit maybe a tree in everyroom last year was a bit overboard, but I love the way the lights just add a touch of magic to every room.
Family and Friends healthy and safe!

  218. I love the decorations! I actually collect snowflake ornaments. My husband proposed to me on Christmas Eve, so it is a time of special memories.

  219. I love the simple traditions that we have created that mark the specialness of the season. Making matching pj pants for my kids and all the cousins, limited gifts, special baking….all of it is so very important.

  220. I just LOVE this ornament! My favorite thing about Christmas is heading out to the east end of Long Island, picking our tree and watching my hubby chop it down. So fun! I also love listening to Christmas music!

  222. I love the great smells in the house, like pine from the tree and turkey in the oven, and fresh baked cookies. I always look forward to displaying my “Santa figurine” collection. I put it up the day after Thanksgiving and take it down mid January.

  223. I LOVE spending the whole day with just my daughter! It used to be just my Grandmother and I but now that she is gone it is a peaceful day with the one I love. Sitting in the early morning with the Christmas lights lighting up her face …the joy….

  224. Christmas time is the best time of the year! I love the evenings of just being home with my family in front of the Christmas tree with the white lights twinkling. Amongst the busyness of the season there is also such a simplicity to it.

  225. I love those! Just so happens to be, my favorite part about Christmas is decorating the tree with my family, listening to holiday music & drinking festive drinks (usually hot toddies)! One of these ornaments would look lovely!

  226. My favorite thing about Christmas is the lull after everybody has eaten and opened gifts at our house. Suddenly time slows down and everyone just enjoys being together!

  227. My favorite holiday tradition is red velvet cake. My grandma used to make it and then my mom and now it’s up to me! It’s so delicious that we eat the leftovers for breakfast on the day after Christmas. Just one bite of that cake brings back all the warm memories of holiday seasons past!

  228. My favorite thing about the holidays was seeing the joy on my Papa’s face every year (it was always his favorite holiday). And now that he is in Heaven with Jesus, we honor his memory and remember his last Christmas with us. He was bound and determined to hang on through Christmas 2008, to just have it normal one more time. He held out, and we had the most memorable Christmas I know. He passed 4 days later. I love that man so much.

  229. well i have to admit when i 1st saw the snowflake i thought o0o a necklace!!!!!! but ornament is great…my fav thing is family time we share at the holidays.

  230. We always add one special ornament a year–and decorating the tree is one of the favorite things we do. It’s like a trip down memory lane when you talk about the event of the year that each ornament represents. It is the best time of the year!

  231. Christmas for me takes place at my Gram’s house in East Aurora, NY. There’s (almost!) always a beautiful blanket of fresh, white snow outside. One of us starts a fire and gets the pancakes going. Everyone checks their stocking for brand new Christmas socks from Santa Gram and for one short period we’re all together, smiling, happy, relaxed and just at peace with each other. Then, of course, the sugar buzz of syrup, coffee and too much christmas candy kicks in… 😀

  232. oh i think i might love *everything* about christmas!
but now that i have a daughter, each year i love watching her enjoy the season. the anticipation, and crafting leading up to the actual day, now that she’s 5 she’s getting more and more involved with the planning and i am loving every minute of it!

  233. This lovely ornament reminds me of the joy of unpacking 40 years of collected ornaments to hang on the tree and the stories behind them. I’d love to add this one to the collection 🙂 Thanks for the opportunity to win one of your beautiful art pieces!

  234. Christmas is my favorite time of year, so there are many thing’s that I love, but my absolute favorite is waking up on Christmas morning and gathering around the tree with my family. We eat breakfast and open presents together and seeing the joy on one of their faces as they open their gifts is the best feeling.

  235. I love the ornament. The ornaments on my tree are my favorite thing about Christmas! My parents collected ornaments for me from birth. The year we were married my parents came for Christmas and brought those ornaments. We add to them every year. I love decorating the tree.

  236. My favorite part of Christmas is the time spent with friends and family. Although that is something I do on a regular basis, it just feels different during Christmas. It’s just magical. Maybe it’s the lights or the snow or both! Hahaha. I just love this time of year!

  237. I’ve been collecting ornements from trips we’ve made for many years. Putting them up in the tree always brings back lots of great memories!

  238. Gorgeous ornament! My favorite moment is when we’re all gathered together (extended family as well) and read the Christmas story from Luke 2 before we open presents.

  239. Christmas is an exciting time just ,thinking of how baby Jesus arrived , our gift and what a special time and event that was then ,and now !! 240. My dad was in the military and we moved often in my childhood. No matter where we lived, my parents always did the same Christmas traditions, so we never felt like anything was missing! Love passing the traditions on with my own family now.

  241. This year my favorite thing will be spending time with our little family. It’s my daughter’s first Christmas! And I can’t wait to see the pure innocence and joy of Christmas through her eyes over the years. This ornament would be perfect way to start our ornament collecting tradition for her every Christmas! 🙂

  242. Ah these are great! I love lots about christmas, but especially the anticipation of sharing it with the addition of our 3rd child, due to be born,,,ummm.. any day now!!

  243. It is the creation of the yearly Holday Card that brings me joy. Every year, we come up with a good one. Our family & friends expect it.

One year, I put my 3 sons in our neighbors holiday scene of the 3 wisemen.
I titled the card The 3 wisemen MEET the 3 wiseguys…my friends still laugh at THAT card!!!!

    LOVE the snowflake Lisa!!!!

  244. Waking to a to the silence of the new fallen snow on Christmas morning, I knew I had to make my first phone call to my 90 year old Aunt Mary. We always smiled to see snow and never more so as on Christmas morning.
Your new ornament is a delight.

  245. Honestly there are two things that are my favorite. I love going to Christmas Eve service and celebrating Jesus’ birth. My other favorite is just spending Christmas day with my family in a very relaxed laid back way!

  246. My favourite thing about Christmas, ever since I was a little girl, has been after dinner on Christmas eve. The anticipation of the fun on Christmas day, the lights on, a cup of tea and cookies, and snuggling on the couch, watching the carols on television and playing cards until my eyes couldn’t stay open any more! I hope to make it a special time for my son’s first Christmas this year too. I can’t wait!

  247. My favourite thing about Christmas would be, the preparations. I love the cooking, the christmas shopping, the carol concerts, the wrapping and then sitting on the sofa with my family, a cup of tea and a slice of cake or mince pie and watching a Christmas movie, just bliss. Just wish it was cold and blustery outside !!!!

  248. My favorite thing about Christmas is getting together with family and friends. Time seems to stand still…no one is in a rush to get anywhere because they are already with their loved ones.

  249. My favorite thing might seriously be ornaments. They are what I buy as all my souveniers! Also though I love wrapping gifts. This year I hope to see a live nativity scene.

  250. My favorite thing about Christmas is getting Christmas cards in the mail during the whole month of December. It’s a great reminder of all of the amazing friends and family we are blessed with!

  251. I think Christmas is a hard time for a lot of people because of losing loved ones. So even though there are sad moments I wish (for me my brother) someone was still with us, the NEW littlest ones, when they start to understand giving and what that means at christmas time, instead of just getting….that is the best part of christmas.

  252. Being with family…and driving around our hometown on Christmas Eve looking at lights singing Christmas songs and drinking hot cocoa

  253. I love spending time with my husband and son (2 yrs) – just our little family of three. We also do lots of traveling and visiting family, but I really enjoy our time together at home.

  254. I love spending time with all my aunts uncles and cousins from all over California. I have the best memories of big family Christmases from when all us cousins were much younger =)

  255. Honestly I love that I have 2 weeks off to just be with my children. It’s a stress free time with very little schedules, to stay in pj’s all day, to bake and just be.

  256. I love the late night Christmas Eve service at our church; it’s a quiet and reflective service that ends with everyone in the congregation lighting candles and leaving the santuary singing Silent Night. I love spending time with family and friends.

  257. I love the Christmas lunch with all the family around and hot wine at the table, all the kids happy and playing with their gifts and us watching their happiness.
Your ornament is so beautiful and delicate, with such a sensitive touch, I love it!

  258. I love my family’s tradition of having a figurine from the handmade nativity set (made by my grandma) placed at each spot at the breakfast table. We go around and everyone share a brief thought or insight about that character…usually something the Lord has been helping us to see in a fresh way that year.
I also love that this is a time for us to purposefully remember God’s incredible love for us in sending his precious Son, Jesus Christ…Christmas leads my thoughts to Easter and the gift of salvation because of Christ’s work on the cross and resurrection. Hooray for that beautiful truth!

  259. That really is a beautiful ornament. We are on year 3 of ornament collecting. Most things at this stage are baby proof. I imagine this would make a wonderful gift.

  260. My favorite thing about Christmas are the smells. I love coming home after something has been baking and smelling the Christmas tree. As green as I try to be, I can’t give up having a real tree in the house. I <3 Christmas!
