You should definitely cook this ! {apple blackberry cobbler}

this super easy cobbler is a big hit around here.

it’s just three basic ingredients-fruit, a box of white cake mix and a stick of butter.

i’ve seen similar recipes–i just changed mine slightly!

1. i use an apple peeler/corer/slicer and cut up about 5 apples.

2. sprinkle cinnamon over apples

3. i used frozen blackberries (2 packages)

4. cover with one box of dry, white cake mix

5. slice up one cube of butter and place over the top

6. bake at 350* for about 45 minutes or until golden brown.

what’s your favorite winter dessert?

  6. Can’t wait to try it! Thx for sharing your recipe! My favorite winter dessert: Snowball No bake cookies. 2 cups graham cracker crumbs mixed with one small can of sweetened condensed milk. Get your muscles out and mix (serious muscles required) and add 2 cups of chocolate chips and mix again. Then make teaspoon sized balls and roll in sweetened coconut flakes and refridgerate. That’s it! Optional: mix in almond pieces. Tastes like an Almond Joy. SO YUMMY and easy, and a family favorite!

  7. Looks delicious and super easy (always a plus!). Thanks for sharing. I’m definitely going to add this to my dessert menu.

🙂 My favorite dessert…hmmmm, I really don’t discriminate when it comes to sweets, so….I adore cheesecake (all year round), crisps, cobblers, & once in awhile my kids & I make cupcakes.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Lisa & family! 🙂

  11. Those are yummy and easy. My mom calls it a dump cake (I guess because you just dump everything in the pan!).
    Happy Thanksgiving!

  12. I love when you pass along a recipe. One of my favorites
that I got from your website was chicken chili with northern white beans. Thanks Lisa.

  13. I love baked apples. Just cut a hole through the apple, fill with a little butter, brown sugar, rasins and almond flakes. Bake it until the apple is soft and enjoy with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

  14. This looks incredible! I have been baking all things pumpkin lately, but I will definitely need to try this in December.
