These pieces were designed with you in mind. You are a mom and so much MORE. In the everyday busyness of life, it’s easy to get bogged down in the mundane. We move through tasks and to-do lists with fast fingers and caring hearts.

You tie shoes, wash dishes, pack lunches, write teacher notes and help with homework.

You wipe tears, give kisses, say prayers and snap pics to capture the moment.

You take a moment to breathe, read a book, run a few miles, try a new recipe or create a DIY project. You nurture your soul.

What you do matters. Who you are matters.

You have a nurturing heart and a strong spirit.

You are truly amazing.

Being a mom takes all that we are. It’s stretching and imperfect. It’s beautiful and life-giving.
And the more we tend to our own souls, the more love we have to lavish on our families.

The half full necklace {above} tells how my life is better, because you’re in it. We’ll set a diamond for each of your loves.

These gorgeous twists and turns earrings represent how we will stand together through every twist and every turn. It’s not easy, but together we are stronger. Sterling silver is only $39!

jewelry, what I'm wearing By January 28, 2015 10 Comments

Oh this dress and the sunshine. I felt happy and free wearing this outfit. It’s Wednesday and I’m linking up with Lindsey at The Pleated Poppy.

The length of this dress is just right. It’s long enough to be covered but short enough to be fun. Steve got me this dress for Christmas. I love it.

And the sunshine we’ve had lately is magical. Cool evenings but glorious days. And we got rain last night–so hooray!

And these are my every day favorite booties.

I love a pretty dress that is easy to wear.

And I love layering necklace. The sterling itty bitty heart has Steve’s initial. It’s a 16″ chain. And the petite infinity is on 18″ sterling chain. Gorgeous.

Outfit details: Dress, Anthropologie. Booties, Frye via Zappos. Bag, H&M. Jean jacket, Gap. Itty Bitty Heart Necklace, My Shop. Petite Infinity Necklace, My shop. Bracelets, My shop.

I know some of your are freezing in the east! I hope you’re staying cozy inside with a blanket and cup of cocoa!

Nothing like getting ready in 15 minutes {pretty dress, tired mama}

jewelry, what I'm wearing By January 14, 2015 6 Comments

Hello there! We had meetings all weekend and I jumped into this week tired. That’s a hard way to start the week, but sometimes that’s just the way it is. I woke up Tuesday morning and all I wanted to do was stay in bed–but that wasn’t an option. We were running late and I threw on a pretty dress and some red lipstick. Nothing like getting ready in 15 minutes. Bam! It’s Wednesday and I’m linking up with Lindsey at The Pleated Poppy for some fashion inspiration!

This dress is too fun. It was on major clearance after Christmas. It’s actually a cocktail dress and kind of fancy, but a jean jacket tones it down for the workshop.

I love my jean jacket. It’s kind of like a security blanket.

This birthstone bauble necklace is sooo pretty. Scroll down for more details!

Hair pulled back, red lipstick. I’m tired inside but I’ve got lots to do. I’ll work hard today and go to bed early tonight!

I feel more put together with a simple heel. But I’ll kick them off as soon I get home.

Stacked up bracelets. I love my ‘word of the year’ bracelet. ‘Loved’ is my word. I need that reminder every day.

And the birthstone bauble necklace–isn’t it gorgeous?! Only $24 today!!

Outfit details: Dress, Zara. Jean jacket, Gap. Heels, Target. Earrings, My shop. Bracelets, My shop. Birthstone Bauble necklace, My shop.

Today I’m drinking coffee, taking deep breaths and trying not to be irritable. How do you push through on the tired and frazzled days?

i heart bracelets

jewelry, what I'm wearing By November 19, 2014 1 Comment

I can’t get enough of bracelets lately. Stacking and mixing them is so fun. I’m linking up with Lindsey at The Pleated Poppy for some fashion inspiration!

I snagged these camo pants at Target last week. They were set on a rack in the wrong section–but they were my size and I bought them without trying them on. {I mean, I could always return them to Target the next day since I’m there every.single.day}. But they fit great and I love them!

And of course my denim jacket is like a security blanket. Love it.

Heels make it look just a bit dressed up and more put together.

Hair pulled back likely means 1. I’m having a bad hair day or 2. I haven’t washed my hair in a couple days. But hey, it works!

These earrings are pretty much on me every day. And stacking bracelets is just FUN!!

Outfit details: Camo pants, Target. Black tee, Gap. Denim Jacket, Gap. Black heels, ON SALE Target. Earrings, My shop {LOVE!!} Bracelets, ON SALE My shop.

Bracelets are ON SALE today! Take 20% off with code ‘braceletlove’. Perfect for stacking and gift giving! Click here to shop!

A big announcement!!

adventures, jewelry By October 11, 2014 35 Comments

You may have noticed that I’ve been traveling to the Dominican Republic lately. Well there’s a good reason for that–it’s not just to soak up the gorgeous beaches. I have some exciting news to share!

I truly love the Dominican Republic. That beaches are breathtaking and the colonial zone is full of amazing architecture–but it’s so much more than that. The language, the people, the texture and light has captured my heart.

Steve and I visited in June, then I went back in September. Actually, I’m heading back next week too! There is so much to do!

Ready to find out what’s going on? Click the video below for more details!

Exciting, isn’t it?! I am thrilled to walk this journey with you!
