  1. Lisa, It was a blessing to meet you at women’s Retreat! Thanks for sharing your story. I esp loved the story of Matty seeing David at school and being so proud to be his brother. I get teary eyed just thinking about it. If only we could all love so unconditionally. You have a beautiful family. Also, your jewelry is amazing! I love it! I put the necklace I want on my wishlist ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. As an adult sibling of someone with severe disabilities, I love to see the joy that David brings into your lives and how much you cherish him for exactly who he is. If only every child could be so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful family!

  3. He’s adorable!! And, I agree with the others, he looks so squeezable too ๐Ÿ™‚

Even though I haven’t mentioned it, just know that I have been praying for your family since his surgery, and will continue! I’m so glad to see him all giggly!

  4. Hi Lisa! I check your blog every day for I have a daughter, Madeleine, who is 11, who will be having open heart surgery here in Indiana on December 3rd. She had one when she was 2, but we are of course a little stressed over having another one. It is so scary, but we as you have wonderful faith to get us through each day and the Lord will take care of her. Thanks for sharing information about David and his recovery, it confirms to me that little ones are strong and can endure so much. We will continue to pray for David’s recovery!
    Thanks and blessings,

    Shawn
