  1. I love your Hello Mondays! Such a nice way to start the week!

I think I’ll adopt them too!! (hope you don’t mind…)

After all: “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery”!

  2. Hi Lisa, I’m saying hello to our new puppy who is such a joy. Chester is just the most amazingly laid-back boy, very affectionate and surprisingly obedient for his age. He weighs 9.6kg (not sure what that is in pounds) at 10weeks old, is beautifully proportioned (not fat) but is going to be a BIG dog! Yay… At the moment Sabah (our cat) is inside too, as we try to get them used to each other. Sabah needs to eat little and often because of his tummy problems so it is imperative we get him used to the dog so he will feel confident about coming in and out during the day! I’m exhausted mentally and emotionally from worrying about them both, but it is so worth it when I look into Chester’s beautiful dark brown eyes! Smiles…

  3. Hello to some much needed rain…even though I’d prefer the sunshine….the birds and grass and trees are happy.

  4. hello to a day resting and recovering from the flu, making muffins, napping whenever the urge hits, selecting from among the ten library books on my “library shelf”, settling in for a long chat with mom, sipping some soup, and catching up on blogs. Not a bad day as the snow continues to fall outside my window.

What book did you start to read?

  5. I’m saying hello to the most amazing sun dogs (winter rainbows) this morning in the sparkling snow crystal air. I am also saying hello to Cupcake Day at the kids school and doling out 275 cupcakes.

To the above poster, Laura, Hello Baby is the best hello of the day! Congratulations!

  6. hello to a Monday off. I love having Monday off! Sets my week off right! 🙂
Also gives me time for two workouts today which will hopefully help my weigh in on Friday 🙂

  7. Hello runny nose and icky cough plauging my toddler. Hello smiley baby who melts my heart. Hello hubby wih the day off! Hello preparation for doing a mini talk on builing community for my mom’s group at church on Wednesday. Hello another day to call myself blessed.

  8. This is going to be a long week for me. My daughter goes to see her Nephrologist (kidney doctor), I am having surgery on Thursday. My idea of hello, is to get through this week smoothly. 🙂

    P.S. I am totally jealous of your 80* weather. I live in VA & it’s 29*. YIKES!

  9. Hello to new snow, swirling down. Hello to my daughter’s studying for her first final exams. Hello to seed catalogs and dreams of seedlings and green!

  10. Hello to a lazy morning with my three, beautiful kids……and wishing that we were at a beach in 80 degree weather!

  11. Hello to day a spent with my family and a time to reflect on/be thankful for, all the great sacrifices Dr. Martin Lurther King made.

  12. oh my gosh…the two people commenting above me are saying hello to some weather!! blogging is so cool…i love how it connects people from all over! i’m saying hello to a morning run with a good friend in a few minutes, working on my one little word scrapbook, a dog beach outing with d., and {hopefully} finishing my book!

  13. Hello to loading the dishwasher, going to buy groceries, having the kids home from school and watching a movie at lunch time, and hello to a book and my feet propped up til dinnertime. Happy MLK day to all of you!

  14. Cold here too with a high of 16! Laundry, vacuuming, but first I have to finish painting my laundry room. When we moved in 16 years ago, I wanted all of the rooms to be painted white and then I would decide as I was there as to the color I wanted. Finally getting to my laundry room and the border I found for it at least 10 years ago!! Can’t wait to get it up!!
