hello new beginning

The boys start school today! It’s a brand new school year and I am kind of a mess! David begins middle school and there is so much NEW and it’s scary {more for me than for him!}. Matthias will be a fifth grader. I have a feeling it’s going to be a fabulous year–so why am I so nervous? How about some hellos for a new week?

***Hello Monday is where I greet the new week with an open heart and a fresh perspective. It’s a new beginning–and there’s so much to be thankful for! Join me by leaving your own hellos in the comments section or linking up a hello monday post there!***

  1. first day jitters. exciting but nerve wracking for moms and kids alike. we have butterflies here too. grade 5 is a big step as is middle school. prayers for a great school year for your boys.

  2. I agree with Katherine- reading your hellos causes me to consider all I have to look forward to in the coming week.

I hope this first day of school was full of pleasant surprises, and that God provided more than you expected.

  3. I just have to tell you, I love your Monday morning hellos. There is something calming about reading your hellos and of course it makes me look at my own hellos for the week. Thanks for that! Have a great school year mama…

  4. First day over here too! Isaiah started 2nd grade and Manny starts K5 later this week. Middle school sounds totally nerve wracking! I used to teach it so I get that, but as a teacher I was always surprised at how quiet they were on the first day. Prayers and hugs to you. 🙂

I’m saying hello to a new season that I’m so excited for, ostrich pillows (have you seen them?), new suede hair clips and food panel results: http://happylittlelovelies.com/2014/08/25/hello-monday-a-new-season-suede-clips-ostrich-pillows-and-food-issues/

  5. Yes, it’s the beginning of school for my two Grans, their first year. One in Kindergartner and one in Pre-K 4. Their Moms are a basket case. Praying for a good year for all the kiddos.

Wishing you a great new week. I’m linking up at http://www.ciciscorner.com
