  1. Hi Lisa! Just wanted to stop in and let you know that I gave one of your “to have, to hold” wall hearts this weekend, to my cousin & her new husband. They adored it, just as I knew they would! Thank you for creating such lovely products. Have a great week!

  2. we also loved Rio. My 4 and 8 yr old girls didn’t once ask to go to the bathroom (minor miracle for 4 yr old). very colorful! rainy, rainy saturday in Ohio – but sunday, mother’s day, the sun stuck with us most of the day. it was awesome!

  3. Rio was great, we loved it. We enjoyed the weather on Saturday, we have had lots of rain here in Minnesota this spring. Today just hangin with the fam, maybe a homemade dinner by hubby and kids, my husband is a wonderful cook.

  4. I am hoping that I wake up to a “special” Lisa Leonard surprise in the morning–yes, my hints were that obvious!! Have a happy Mother’s Day–you are so sweet with your boys. Enjoy!

  5. May GOD bless you this Mothers’ Day weekend, Lisa! You mirror your Creator, * l♥ve your art * and * your heart.*
    Happy Mothers’ Day!

  6. Hi sweet Lisa!

I have been meaning to come by and say hello again! I was so HAPPY to see you at Remnants! I wish I could have made it to ruby rose on Sunday too, I love her store!

You, your blog and your creations, are just so charmingly delightful. And so so special too.

    Happy Mothers Day beautiful girl

  7. My daughter graduated from college with ceremonies on Thursday and Friday. I had to grocery shop today (boo), but got to spend some fun time with my boys. Will be visiting our moms tomorrow. Happy Mother’s Day.

I need to email you. My daughter’s graduation, her first Mother’s Day and her second anniversary are coming up within the week. I need something special for her, but am at a loss. Such a hard time making decisions. Love your jewelry. I want something that she’ll always treasure.

  8. I woke up to pancakes in bed this morning and a brown box with a sweet blue ribbon wrapped around it. You will never guess what was inside.. Okay, Okay, I’ll tell you.. My Treasure necklace.. YAAY!! It is so beautiful and special.

My family celebrated mothers day this morning, because my husband works at our church and sundays are so crazy and busy.

Hope your Mother’s Day is wonderful. Thank you for helping make mine so…

  9. Right now I’m watching softball, golf, baseball on TV. I love watching sports, but I’d rather watch them live. But tonight…TONIGHT!!!! I am going with my daughter to the Newsboys/Kutless/Disciple Concert in Santa Ana. Cannot wait! Sounds like a nice way to spend Mother’s Day weekend…doing what I want and doing something with at least one of my daughters. Dan’s just relaxing. 🙂

  10. * photoshoot this am * shopping for cowgirl boots (will have to go back when I’m alone…3 crazy kids + patient husband in car waiting and I felt guilty) * lunch w/ fam (picked up Hardees) * rocking sleepy baby boy (now) * spending time outdoors
    * homemade pizza night * ALL this makes for a great day.

Lisa…I love your blog and shop!

  11. wathing diy shows on tv…reading blogs…cleaning and laundry. perfect saturday except if I had the money for yard sales…that would be the cherry on the top. ;o)

  12. We’re planting an herb garden in large pots and a climbing rose on my fence. Then this evening we’ll be “chasing the sunset”… Sleeping in tomorrow. 😀

  13. We are thinking about a movie too…because the weather is rainy/drizzly. If the rain stops – s’mores around the fire tonight!! mmmm!
    Have a great day!

  14. I heard Rio was really cute!

On my schedule: walking to get groceries with the boyfriend and a movie date with a girlfriend. Something Borrowed or Water for Elephants? hmmm…

    1. steve and i saw water for elephants last night–so pretty. loved the cinematography. reese witherspoon was amazing. it was more violent than expected though.

  15. We saw Rio last weekend it was super cute. Highly recommended! I am reveling in having a “normal” Saturday–will do a “white tornado” (one hour cleaning a la Flylady) and then spend a couple hours sewing in my studio. Heaven! I love your posts as always, Lisa. Enjoy your weekend! xoxo

  16. Ok Lisa, I took my kids to see Hoodwinked Too last weekend as was SO disappointed! Not anywhere near as funny as the first one! I only laughed a handful of times. I hear Rio is a great movie though! Have a wonderful weekend!

  17. Hit some huge yard sales this morning! My sister and her son just got into town at my moms. After hubby gets his bees settled(he’s a beekeeper and the new bees came in today) we’ll head to my moms for a fun day.
    Happy Mothers Day Lisa!
    xo,
    Sarah

  18. I always love your instagram pics! I had to switch to Sprint and had to get rid of my iphone but I finally got the EVO which is so much like the iphone! FUN!
We have no plans for the weekend either besides me editing and then going to church and spending time with my mother in law tomorrow and my Mom on Monday! 🙂

  19. A weekend with no big plans! The best! We have company and then company, which is super fun. I should be cleaning bathrooms and vacuuming instead of blog reading. 🙂

    1. yay for blog reading when you should be doing other things {i’m doing the same thing!}
