  220. Big frosty homemade chocolate milkshakes. With the price of milkshakes soaring into the universe of ridiculous prices, we make our own milkshakes using lucerne ice cream (in a box no-less) and generic safeway chocolate syrup. What we save in pennies, we make up for in calories. ha!

  258. My all time favortite food in the summer has to be veggies on the grill and chicken on the grill. My hubby does an awesome job grilling and we LOVE eating outside on the deck!

  259. I eat them all year long, but for some reason it seems like chips and salsa become a staple in my diet during the summer. Trader Joes has great regular salsa but it’s always fun to mix it up with Mango Salsa!! Yuuummm! Also a squirt of lime on the chips just gives it that extra little ‘umph’, making it complete.
