and david tips the scales at…

daviddaddy

so i thought maybe he had gained some weight.  he was stuck right around 20 pounds for.ev.er.  but on saturday morning during a trip to urgent care (for a rash that disappeared by the time the doctor came into the room, oh well!) david weighed in at 26 pounds.  no wonder my arm and back get so tired!  he can walk just fine, but getting him to walk in the right direction is the challenge.  way to go david–you are so big!!

  1. I’m sure that there are times when it is less than convenient for you but the idea of David trying to constantly walk in the direction most interesting to him is pretty darn cute 🙂

  2. I image it is a nice feeling! Knowing if you don’t ever think about it, then something you would not expect that you had long forgotten what you had wishes.

  3. that is wonderful news!!! the Lord is faithful!!! May God continue to touch his life in miraculous ways and use it all for His glory.

I don’t know if you are interested, but I am having a papercut giveaway. Feel free to stop by and see what I do. And enter, of course…

  4. Yay, David!! My autistic grandson who will be 11 next month tips the scales at 51lbs – I am so glad he is small for his age because he is still such a little boy in development and sweetness!

  5. Great going! Sometimes it really is the little things isn’t it? keep up the good work – and may God bless you and that sweet boy.

  6. Isn’t is amazing what a sense of accomplishment one feels as a parent when their children grow. Sometimes it feels as if we are finally doing something right! 😉 (Or maybe that’s just me on the tough days!) Keep on growin’ little man!

Oh, and I just hate when you take them in and all of a sudden the symptoms “magically disappear”. Happens all the time around our house!
