Chrissie and I met in Santa Barbara on Saturday for some solid sister time. It.was.wonderful. We always park in the same spot so we can meet up quickly, grab a bench and talk. Then we’ll walk around and shop, grab some lunch and maybe even creme brulee for dessert. It would be fine if there were no Santa Barbara halfway between us. I’d would willingly spread a blanket in an empty parking lot and pull out a picnic lunch just to be with her and talk. But I’m not complaining. Santa Barbara is great. And the creme brulee rocks.

I love creme brulee. Yummy!
That looks soooo yummy!
I would love to visit Santa Barbara someday.
Oh that sounds soooo nice!
I’m so jealous! I have always longed for a sister!
You’re right–there is nothing better than quality sister time! Unfortunately my sister is in CA and I’m in MD. That would make halfway…what…Missouri??
Glad you enjoyed the day!
When I first looked at your blog that raspberry looked like a worm. I was wondering, “What kind of creme brulee is that?” I love dessert–especially with people I love.
My husband and I love to try the creme brulee at various locations. It’s a special, SWEET thing we share.
oh my lord, creme brulee and Santa Barbara together, two of the best things around. Lucky you!
What a fun day! I love girls day with sisters and moms and daughters. Solvang is close to SB…have you tried creme brulee there?

So much fun to be together, sis. Love you and the creme brulee-especially since I ate about 3/4 of it!
i miss my sis!
You two have a wonderful relationship! And I love that you get to see each other so much. You make that time!
I am a huge fan of SB. Pierre Lafont was my favorite until they changed it to sit down only. Loved their deli cases full of down home looking desserts.
You always make me wish I had a twin! SO fun. And that creme brulee sounds AMAZING!
Sigh. I love CB. I like breaking the hard, crunchy topping.
