you know how every once in a while you come across a blog and think ‘how have i been missing this all this time?!’. well, i fell in love with a blog called ‘simple sparrow’ a few months ago. toni’s photography is amazing–peaceful and simply lovely. her creations are beautiful and her heart shines through her blog.
so i was after getting acquainted online i was shocked to find we only live two blocks apart. i mean, that is crazy! we met up for coffee at our local starbucks and found we have much in common. what a blessing!

so go explore her blog, get inspired, and check out her darling journals and sweet prints. perfect for a monday (or any other day of the week)!

That is so great! That is amazing that you live so close to each other. The blogging world is amazing!
I know this blog! She does great, wonderful pics!!
It is so crazy how world is so little… it’s incredible that you live so near!! Maybe the hand of destiny!!
How fun to meet a new friend. Amazing how that worked out!
I feel rather the same type of inspiration from you (and simple sparrow, who I have been reading for a very long time) though we do not know each other at all. Your photos and stories of your kids make me happy to be a mother.
Hi lisa, i know this is a random question, but i remember you mentioning your love of chocolate chip pancakes in the past…so i was wondering, where in slo county are your favorite places to get them?! Or just some good pancakes in general. The last few places i’ve tried haven’t been that great, so i’m looking for some suggestions. I loooove when the pancakes are crispy around the edges – fyi – ha ha.
They are sounding so good right now!
So fun Erica! We love Dorns in Morro Bay for chocolate chip pancakes. Also, Big Sky in San Luis Obispo has amazing pancakes–not chocolate chip, but other yummy flavors like banana walnut and orange cranberry. hugs!
Ooohh thanks for the suggestions! I’ve been to both dorn’s and big sky, but haven’t tried pancakes at either place. Gosh, if it wasn’t 10 o’clock at night, i swear i would drive downtown right now and get some…
How fun to meet someone from Blogland. It is great that you two live so close to eachother.
I am going to go check her out.
Thanks Lisa! I have eaten at both Dorns & Big Sky, but not for their pancakes. Hopefully this weekend!
