on saturday, chrissie and i stumbled onto erika carter’s studio overlooking state street. it is amazing space where she paints and shows other artists’ work. i felt so inspired by her art and her workspace i was giddy. seriously, i was.
what stirs you up and makes you so giddy you have to CREATE something??
Right now there are many things inspiring me:

Your Photography definately! Trying to work out where I can find $1000 to upgrade to a digital SLR – we have some great old lenses, fish eye and macro, from my hubby’s old SLR, would be heaps of fun now that I have the bug!
Also, I love finding really funky kids clothing, my first samples are to be made up in the next few weeks – yay!!
My boys inspired me. Where do you work Lisa? I would love to see your workspace. You look so organized it must be gorgeous with all your jewelry supplies perfectly lined up.
I am so unartistic. I can’t even paint by numbers. LOL I look at the numbers and the bookkeeper comes out in me. 🙂

Being outside and feeling the cool, even chilly breeze. Living in AZ, you learn to appreciate that! We are just eating up the weather here right now!
My daughters inspire me. They are so beautiful and photogenic….I can’t help but follow them snapping pictures. Every once in a while what I capture is magic, and it’s SO worth it.
