note to self.

soak up each day.  slow down and be present in the moment.  make realistic to do lists (it doesn’t all have to get done today!). notice the little things.  appreciate beauty.  ignore the mess.  laugh at yourself.  linger over coffee.  enjoy today. today is all we have.

Yesterday is the past, tomarrow is the furture, but today is a gift. That’s why it’s called the present.

  2. All very true! I always enjoy your blog although I rarely comment. Love your jewelry too…I’ll be ordering something soon for my mom. 🙂

  4. I came across your blog today after seeing your jewelery in Ok magazine. I absolutely love your jewelery and your blog. In fact I am kind of obsessed now. It is 3am and I have just gone back through your blog reading all your old posts. I love your photos, your creativity and your great attention to detail. You have inspired me in so many different ways when I have not felt inspired in such a long, long time! I thank you for pointing out all of the beautiful things around us with your optimistic outlook on life. You are everything I wanted to be when I “grew up”!

Thanks again and looking forward to coming back to this new found gem often!

  6. after i just finished walking the dogs, stripping the bed, cleaning the inside and outside of hubby’s truck, vacuuming the first level, doing some spot cleaning, and am looking around me seeing MORE to do, this is a GOOD WORD. the last line is true, and we so often forget it.

It moves me to enjoy life’s simple pleasures, to hug my kids, to make the most of everyday, to reflect on how God has blessed us beyond measure. Lisa, you make me smile everyday… thank-you!
