Lisa, I discovered first your jewelry and then your blog via SimpleMomBlog. I, too, am a special needs mom. You know you have made something beautiful here. With your son. With your jewelry, which I’ve sent a link of to my boyfriend whose asked why I wear none. I told him I found all of it beautiful. I love the fact that you have found beauty and you continue to create it even when life “seems” less than perfect. That’s my kinda life. Namaste.
Counting hours till I can pick up my kids.
Making dinner, doing dishes, then my hour of me time begins! I take the iPod and go for a walk at the High School. Then bath, bedtime and finally sit down only to fall asleep in the chair!
Not to shabby a day…….
kids off to school, cough/flu medicine for me, lot’s of much needed sleep, now dishes, dinner, kids home from school, homework, playing, bath time, sleepytime….
I want your Wednesday. Work, as usual, but had lunch with my husband before he drove to LA to work. Got a call from my daughter in OR – she NEVER calls. She’s getting me a birthday present from the OR Ducks bookstore where she works. Oh, and talking with your husband as he walked out the door. That was nice. Just about my situation and being patient and waiting on the Lord.
Our Wednesday consisted of being snowed/sleet/rained in, staying in our pj’s, and making chocolate chip cookies from scratch with lots and lots of giggles and smiles.
Well, it’s Thursday for me and it’s a Holiday over here so I’ll tell you what my day looked like… Made Indian Porridge, Ironed my Kurti (Indian shirt), took a shower, power went out. sent postcards, went to school to help with the orientation for 20 new students that arrived from the US, gave a campus tour with a friend, watched Ghajini (a 3.5 hr. Hindi movie) and went to a friends birthday party Miss you! xoxo

My Wednesday was filled with cubicles and computers, but I love taking a break to read your blog! Your pictures are beautiful and I can’t wait to order some jewelry!

P.S.: I’m so inspired by the beauty here — visually and so much more — I’ve added you to my blogroll: http://www.LeisaHammett.com
Actually, it is a dreary, rainy day here in New York.
Glad some of you have such a pretty day to look at

Shoveling snow, shoveling even more snow! I must say, your Wednesday sounds much more restful!

My wednesday looked like a snow day except ice, and doctors appointments. Not a bad day though. Your weather certainly was better!
