we are really celebrating friday this week because it’s our very first day of summer vacation. whooohooo!! i’m linking up with jeanett over at life rearranged for some instagram fun! here are our pics from this last week.

matthias finished his last spelling test for the year. yay!

i took all kinds of pics of flowers this week. here are few of my faves.

this week also included coffee with friends and a haircut–love.

david gets a good cuddle from ‘uncle leo’ and bubble gum alley in downtown san luis obispo. it’s an entire alley covered in bubble gum. seriously wrong but so intriguing.

in my photos i see a lot of recurring themes–my boys, flowers and coffee. what are your favorite things to take pictures of?

  1. Around we have mostly pictures of family members, fish and random flowers. Always enjoy seeing your photos.

  2. I love taking pictures of trees, flowers, and people I love. So inspired by all your creativity… your blog is a daily must. God bless your wonderful family! Cheers to summer adventures and the beauty of creation.

  3. As a photographer I love to photograph about anything!! But I especially love taking photos of my little girl. Lately I’ve been working really hard at “still life” and finding a new angle.

  4. So pretty!! My favorite things to take pictures of are times w/ my family and friends and nature. I don’t know how many pictures of Kansas I have on my fb page. But it love it!

  5. My child, trees, sunrises/sunsets, flowers, and the small details in our lives. During the summer months I love using my underwater camera for swimming shots.

  6. Used to love taking a million pics of my chocolate lab, now it is my son and sometimes my son and chocolate lab together.

  7. pretty peonies!! i still haven’t gotten my hands on any this summer, which deeply saddens me. they’re hard to find if they’re not growing in your yard!!

  8. Definitely my black lab, Dakota. She’s basically my child, so I guess it’s normal right?

I also love taking pictures of anything outdoors – specifically the beautiful scenery here in Oregon.

    Last, and obviously, FOOD!

PS – I love your pictures, Lisa. They’re always so full of life!

  9. Did you see the gum wall in Seattle when you were there? The same revolting-intriguing.

I love to take pictures of my girls, our cats, plants/flowers.

    Happy weekending
