This week’s outfit is simple and sweet! The dress was a thrift store find in Kansas. I wore the dress here and the sweater here.
The dress is easy.
The sweater is happy.
The navy booties are comfortable.
All day I felt feminine. And I like that!
This vintage leather clutch is an estate sale find. Perfect for grabbing when I don’t want to carry my big bag.
First I was photo-bombed by this love bug.
And then David wanted in on the action too. Love my boys.
Layer on a few bracelets for fun. The cuff was on pre-sale last week and will be back in 2014. The green bracelet is from Now Yours. They have some very affordable, costume jewelry.

When I walk into a thrift store my first stop is dresses. Tell me, friends…when you walk into a thrift store, where do you begin the hunt? Housewares, dresses, bags?! I want to know!

I always start in housewares, but I think I’ll pay more attention to dresses from now on…
My husband and I are regulars at Goodwill and Salvation Army! My first stop is jeans-I have a thing for them. I work from home in rural Montana, so they are my every day wear. I also collect cashmere sweaters- I get plenty of wear out if them in this climate! I am also collecting mismatched crystal wine goblets. Except that they aren’t so mismatcfed because in four different trips to both stores my husband has found four that match!
I love thrift store shopping too! I usually go for housewares first, then books and toys for my gals, and if I’m lucky-clothes for me 🙂
Reading this gave me withdrawls from thrift shopping haha, that dress is AWESOME! this is seriously why i never buy anything full price. and i love how you styled it, it looks very anthropologie-y!
