Kimono two ways

Hello friends! It’s summer and I want to be comfortable and flowy and I think I’ve found the solution! It’s Wednesday and I’m linking up with Lindsey at The Pleated Poppy for some fashion inspiration.

How fun is this kimono? It’s a scarf style and drapes perfectly over my shoulders. It goes from park play to date night to beach cover up. I am so happy!

It adds such a FUN splash of color and I have gotten so many compliments on it!

These are the most amazing boyfriend jeans I have ever had. They are my very favorites–I highly recommend!
Order your regular size and you won’t regret it!

Yellow earrings from my hope{full} fair trade collection are perfect for summer.

This bracelet from the fair trade collection is GORGEOUS. It’s made from tagua seed and it feels good on!

These sandals are new and so comfy! I wear heels almost all of the time–but that doesn’t work at the park or the zoo. Happy, easy sandals make for happy feet. And such a neutral color–love that.

This kimono is perfect for date night, too!

I love the way the kimono drapes over a dress. I added heels to dress up the outfit a bit more.

The heels are so comfortable!

A clutch is perfect for an evening out because I don’t need to bring diapers, etc. This leather one was found at an estate sale.

Date nights are the BEST! We try to get in at least 2-3 a month and it’s been so good for us. We have fun, we talk and talk. We bond.

Outfit one details: Kimono, Anthropologie. The best boyfriend jeans EVER {order your regular size}, Zappos. Black tee {I’m wearing a large}, Target. Strappy sandals, Anthropolgie. Yellow diamond earrings, fair trade, my shop. Grey bracelet, fair trade, my shop.

Outfit two details: Kimono, Anthropologie. Black dress, thrifted. Chunky heeled sandals, on sale! Dillards. Clutch, thrifted. Yellow diamond earrings, fair trade, my shop. Grey bracelet, fair trade, my shop.

Is this kimono something you would wear? I’d love to hear!

  1. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: you look FANTASTIC with your hair up! It just brightens and shows off your beautiful face! Bravo!

  2. I love this look and the fun colors but I can’t pull it off like you! Maybe it’s my height or something but I can’t seem to find a kimono that looks good on me yet. The search continues. 🙂
