  1. Well, you look great in all of them, but my fave is the raspberry & cream! I love really saturated bright colors.

  2. Hi I’m new to your blog and I just love all these! You are too cute and make me want to try harder too. I’m also afraid of doing something new but I think I will need to try 🙂
I love them all but I would pick #2- yellow

  3. Girl, your style is crazy fabulous! I am in love with every scarf and your hair reminds me of meg ryan–and I love her!

Can’t wait to meet you at Bloggy Bootcamp–I will be speaking too!

    xoxo,
    ashley

  4. I like #2 and like others have said, I would like to know how you did your scarf like that. Looks great!

  5. Love this post and your outfits! So fun.
Question, I clicked on the link to Lindsey and there was an error… any help on how to check her out?!

  6. Hey Lisa! how do you like the anthropology top in the first pic? I was gonna order it but I wasn’t sure. Thanks!

  7. Love them all…thanks for the fashion inspiration! Doing my mantle in aqua and yellow, but having a REALLY hard time finding some little aqua birds eggs to hang on my branches???? Has anyone seen any this spring? No-go at Michael’s …gonna try Hobby Lobby today!

  8. love the yellow/aqua combo, especially since i can’t pull off yellow. but my favorite this week is that sweater vest! you’ve got great style – thanks for the inspiration!

  9. Wow — all so great. I love the color in #1 — but I think #4 is my favorite here! Maybe I am just smitten with that cardigan — it looks so warm and comfy!

  10. Lisa, 1 & 3. I’ve been trying more layers, and boots-inspired by you. I can’t wear jeans to work-so I’ve been wearing leggings (never thought I would), but am loving it! Saw a giant stack of gorgeous yellow dishes & thought you’d love them. Being as you are on a yellow kick!

  11. Love the yellow/aqua combo.

And… would you give a video lesson on how you make your fun scarf ties/knots? I LOVE that first one. That’s my biggest issue with the whole scarf thing. I make a square knot thing and hope for the best.

Yours looks like some kind of Celtic knot. Beautiful!

  12. Love the mustard and aqua combo! You can never go wrong with mustard yellow! 🙂

  13. Hi Lisa, my fave combo is the first one, I just love that green! You have such flair. I’d love to be able to wear scarves, but no matter how I wear them they just look horrible on me! xxx

  14. I love the blue and green together….super cute! You have great style! :). I just got my necklace in the mail today, I love it….thank you! 🙂

  15. I love the blue green combo! I most confess I come to your sight often and look at previous “what I wore wednesdays” for inspiration! I also show other late 20s early 30s friends your style! Age appropriate and so much fun!

  16. Love the green/blue – but on you i like them all! Have a nice week – i’m always looking forward to wiww!!!

  17. I really like all the combos, but I think my fave might have to be the yellow & aqua…I have very fair skin and reddish hair and cannot wear any shade of yellow – so I always enjoy it on others!

PS – I read your blog pretty much every day (though I never comment) and I just want you to know I love the whole blog, but I especially enjoy What I Wore Wednesdays! Please continue… :o)

  18. On you, they all look great, Lisa! On me, the raspberries & cream combo would be fab. (I cannot carry off yellow.)

    I thought of you last night while looking at flats at Target. “Hmm… these cute grey ones look like something Miz Lisa Leonard might wear! {I’m such a cheesy fan gurl. ;o) }

  19. I am loving the raspberry and cream, but the yellow and aqua are inspiring. I may just redo my guest room in those colors! 🙂

  20. I am loving the raspberry color…it just makes me feel warm and fuzzy! 🙂 I may need to go get some raspberry for myself!

  21. That gorgeous purple outfit is my favorite! So nice to see color. Around here everyone’s still dressing in blacks, greys, and blues.

  22. the blue and green is my fave this week. It is lovely to see some color since things have been so dreary here. I’m ready for some sunshine!

  23. If we stood side by side, I think I’d be mistaken for an Amish woman… but I love your colorful personality! 😀

A dear friend gave me a beautiful scarf she chose for me when she traveled to Italy… it’s exquisite, embroidered silk, so dainty and fragile… and I want to wear it, but it feels & looks so foreign for me, did you feel that way at first too, or were you born a girly girl?

    1. hi JD! there are definitely times i’ll put on something and it feels new or funny–or just outside my norm. but if i like i try to just go with it. boots and dresses was a big stretch for me a couple years ago–and now i wear them all the time. i say wear the scarf!! xo

      1. Glad to know I’m not alone in this… everything girly/feminine was a stretch for me until last year, but I’m getting better at it.

I’m going to pretend you dared me to try the scarf by the end of the week — perhaps I’ll even get some photographic evidence 😀

        Thanks for the encouragement, Lisa!

  24. Think of the term “fashionista” and then think of the other extreme and that would be me, but I love, love, love your style. You make me want to try harder. : ) I especially love your peachy scarf this week…

  25. I love your Wednesday posts! 🙂 Please tell us how you tied your scarf in days 1 and 4. I’m always looking for new ways to tie, and I love that look!

  26. I love the blue/green and the raspberry/cream! I definitely need to branch out and start wearing more colors… 🙂 Heart the scarves!

  27. I love lime green and pink! I love to get on your blog every morning….it totally makes my day!

    Blessings…….
