what i wore wednesday

hello friends! it’s wednesday and i’m linking up with lindsey at the pleated poppy and nina at momma go round for some fashion inspiration! make sure to hop over and check out their darling blogs.

Above–super comfy and easy. we’ve been having very cold nights around here, but then the days warm up to the high 60’s. Layering is the way to go! Sweater, target. Jeans, Joes {found at TJ maxx}. Scarf, local boutique. Furry vest, Gap outlet.

This was a colorful outfit! Skirt, bought at lindsey’s stitch market–made by Stacey Lynn. Sweater, gray tank, gray tights and gray wedges, all Target. Rosette necklace, Allora Handmade. Bracelet, My shop.

Today’s question–what’s the number one thing on your christmas list this year for YOU. I’m hoping for new boots or maybe a dress from anthro.

  1. I think I want a pair of boots. My daughter let me wear some of hers while I was in Alabama…and now I think I need some….:)

  2. Hoping for your “Feed Your Soul” necklace! My husband and I vowed to get each other only things that fit in a stocking (a win for me!) because we decided we’ll go see Coldplay together when they are out this way again. Can’t wait!

  3. love your style Lisa. you wear the cutest things! I dont have that much on my xmas list this year but I am hoping for a dressy fur vest and rain boot liners and pjs are always on my list .

  4. That yellow skirt is fabulous! I can’t look at it and not feel happy!
The number one thing on my list is a Keurig coffee machine. I would love to be able to brew delicious drinks at home!

  5. Hi Lisa!!
I hardly ever make comments on blogs but I L.O.V.E reading yours everyday…love hearing about your family, business, fashion, home and everything…thank you for writing each day!! You are so inspiring!

I know this isn’t really what you were asking about but I would love to drop some weight for Christmas. I started with South Beach about 1.5 weeks ago. I’m trying so hard to only eat the right things during Phase 1…I admit, it’s not perfect but I’m giving it my all. I’m not seeing any results and I’m really bummed out. If you had any suggestions or hints, I would love to know about them!

    1. Hi Clare! Hang in there. Really try to cut out all carbs and sugar. I didn’t see a lot of results in the first week, but then I dropped about 6 pounds pretty quickly. Good luck! xo

  6. I’d really like to have a family portrait session. From that session I’d like to get a canvas made with a picture of our three kids before baby #3 gets any bigger.

  7. I am so excited for Christmas! Can’t wait!! If I was honest, I’d steal your anthro boots (even though you said last week that they were dying). I love them so! So, since yours aren’t available (and believe me I looked everywhere for them), I’m hoping for something similar. Anthro had some online, but I always struggle with buying online, especially with shoes, what if they don’t fit? How do you do it? Do you order 2 sizes and send one back?

  8. I always love your style. I check here each day to peek in on your life. I’m wishing for a trip to the ocean and some vintage-store shopping.

  9. love the colorful outfit ๐Ÿ™‚ you are always super adorable!!! i’m hoping for a new iPhone ๐Ÿ™‚ i’m still sporting an oldie (but a goodie) phone, but hoping for a new one!

  10. Lookin’ good, Lisa; and very colorful, too! I’m asking for books, books, lots of books. It’s the only way I like to really, really relax. It takes me forever to get through reading books, but it’s a gift that last a long time, then.

From my comment from yesterday, I’m linking up my What I Made Wednesday as a follow-up to yesterday! I hope you visit, I’m really proud of the way the wreaths turned out.
