scarves and boots {three ways}

It’s Wednesday and I’m linking up with Lindsey at The Pleated Poppy for some fashion inspiration. Today I’m sharing the same outfit–just mixed with different scarves and boots. I love a basic black dress, gray tights and a denim jacket. And mixing them different ways means they’re versatile–which is awesome.

For the first outfit {above} I wore gray booties that I’ve had for years with a floral scarf. The gray tights and boots are monochromatic–and I like that!

Things get a little more playful in look two when I mixed in vintage cowboy boots and a polka dot scarf. Who says you can’t mix navy and black? Not me–I love them together.

And for the last look I wore a nuetral bootie and a cream scarf. The scarf ties in the booties and the tights are cozy and neutral.

Outfit details: Dress, Macys. Denim Jacket, Gap. Tights, Target. Bracelets, My shop.

Look one: Booties, Kohls. Scarf, Forever 21.

Look two: Vintage boots, Ruby Rose. Polka dot scarf, Zara.

Look three: Neutral booties, Target. Cream scarf, Anthropologie.

Which look is your favorite?

  1. Very pretty outfits!! I love cowboy boots. I have some for riding and doing chores and other pairs for when I’m clean!! You always look so nice in your photos.

  2. Love look #2 🙂 Super cute – can’t wait to get a black dress and pull out my gray tights – wish I could pull off the boots!
