David is offically an ‘upper grader’ now. He’s hanging with the big kids. I’m a nervous wreck! But it’s going to be great. Matthias loves his third grade teacher. It’s a new year. A fresh start.
We are so excited, how about you?

My children are all grown now, but this brings back all those first-day-of-school memories with my kids, everything – the jitters (theirs and mine), panic rush to the bus, trying to be organized and on top of things…I have some wonderful “action” shots, too. lol
You have a beautiful family!
These made me smile. I love your honesty and not trying to make them look perfecto. Good luck with school this year!
These gave me many smiles! Love them because those kind of things happens to me way too often!
Thanks for sharing ALL the pictures. I am glad to know I am not the only one who has problems getting photos of all of us.
Cute pictures! Hope your boys enjoy their first day of school.
Happy Friday!

Love the pictures. I came across your website after seeing a post on a friend’s Facebook page. She has two handicap children (Carol Shrader). She had gotten a necklace and it had turned and sent it back and you fixed it. Anyway she was singing your praises and I thought your business must be something special. I had been wanting a necklace with my grandkids names on it so I checked it out and ordered. I had a sister with cerebral palsy and now have an autistic grandson. I know the challenges and the mighty blessings special needs children bring. I’m glad to be “friends” with you and keep up with you on your journey!
love the pictures!
They capture everything just as it is, which is beautiful!
What an exciting day!!
First time commenting….I love all your pictures, but these are by far my favorite.

Somehow I think you’ll love these even more than a perfect picture. They’re so real life!
aww what cute pictures! i hope your boys enjoy their first day!
Love the pics. So true!!! Very sweet boys. Yeah for school starting!!!
Lovely pictures! My girls will start nursery&school in two weeks in England. And they don’t speak English (yet)… So I can relate to the nervous wreck part, Lisa. Fingers crossed! This is going to be a great shool year for all of us!
I bet they take good care of David. The boys look happy to be going back, and you look thrilled.
I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that you posted the ‘out takes’. That is real life and you are living it and I can see the JOY in your face!
O my gosh, hilarious! I loved this, reminds me of our pic attempts. I am a regular follower of yours, just not a regular commenter. I happened on your blog over a year ago while researching CdLS. I am a special education teacher and have the pleasure of having a wonderful little girl in my class with CdLS. I’ve also bought a couple pieces of your beautiful jewelry. I love reading your blog. Thank you for sharing your life honestly and openly, I’m sure that’s difficult. You are a breath of fresh air!
The pictures made me smile.
I guess we ALL have the same issues with kids and cameras!! If they could just be rational…..
Mom deserves a nap the minute the kids leave for school:-)
